Best BUFFET (lunch and dinner) in Las Vegas? Why?

I would really appreciate your help/recommendation on Las Vegas Buffets.

I am definitely craving for some crab legs, lobster, peeled shrimp, and SUSHI, and some amazing salad bar. However, it doesn't have to be seafood buffet only.

Please, let me know if your recommended buffet has LOBSTER, CRAB LEGS, and SUSHI.

I am planning on going during the weekdays only.

I've been browsing through some previous LV buffet questions and the RIO was one of those mentioned the most often.

Thank you so much for your answers!

to Old School - sorry, I know.. but many people post these kind of questions under travelling...And even Yahoo! Answers chose this as the first option... Personally, it doens't matter to me... And then, eating, dining out, or whatever you call it, is an important part of travelling and getting to know places!!! :o))

Definitely the Rio's world buffet. I go there just for the Crab Legs and Sushi!! I've never noticed any lobster but I'm sure that if they had some i would of gotten some. They also have shrimp and some other seafood. Plus there are tons of other options for you. It's the best. Not the cheapest but well worth the price. The Rio also has a Seafood Buffet, i haven't been yet but you might want to check that out too. It's called the Village Seafood Buffet.

If you want something more upscale then my vote is for the Sterling Brunch which happens on Sunday's at Bally's in there Steakhouse. Very pricey at about $65 per person but worth every penny. Lots of gourmet foods and i remember them having split lobsters.

The buffet at the RIO was awesome! I was there in April. It was expensive, but MORE that worth it!

They had ALL kinds of foods!

Best buffet ever was @ Bellagio- only went for breakfastso don't know about lunch or dinner there- it's pricier than the others but amazing! You'll be blown away- check out their website for more details- have a blast!

The Rio "Carnival World Buffet" has not been one of the best in LV in over 10 years. Their Seafood buffet is good, but very over priced at $36.99

IMHO the best value seafood buffet are at the
Fremont - Sunday/Tuesday/Friday - $15.99
Orleans - Monday - $17.95 >$1 off with "Club Coast" card
Main Street Station - Friday/Saturday - $15.99

Best value buffets - in order - IMHO
Main Street Station - Lunch($8) Dinner($10)
Boulder Station - Breakfast($6) Lunch($7) Dinner($10)
Orleans - Lunch($9) Dinner($14)
Palace Station - Breakfast($6) Lunch($7) Dinner($9)
Fiesta Henderson - Lunch($6)
Las Vegas Hilton - Dinner($17)

The best - price no object
Sterling Brunch - Bally's($65)

For times, prices, rating on every buffet in LV

We go to LV 2-3 times a year for 2 weeks or more at a time and have for over 20 years. We just got home from a month(6/4 - 7/5) long stay in LV.

The buffet at Paris had sushi, crab legs, and shrimp and a wonderful salad bar. Also the buffet at Harrahs was great. I don't remember the seafood selection but they had awesome pastas, salad, and dessert selection. They also had steak, ribs, and ham.

My favorite Buffet regarding Seafood is and will be the Spice Market Buffet at the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood Hotel. Crab Legs, Shrimp, Sushi and much more. Besides this you will find Mexican, Italian, Asian, Middle Eastern, American cuisine. Top it off with tantalizing desserts and you have a buffet that has been voted 2007 #1 Buffet in Las Vegas!
A bit pricey ($25,- per person) but worth it. A other good Buffet is the Big Kitchen Buffet at Bally's priced with about $17 USD. Enjoy.

Alright I am a buffet person myself and just got back from a 4 day trip to Las Vegas hitting 4 buffets. If PRice is not an option YOU MUST GO to Rio's Seafood buffer (THEY HAVE TWO IT FOOLED ME THE 1st TIME!!!) It is not the one in the front but located towards the back of the casion it has Lobster Sushi Crablegs Shrimp that you need to peel and many other seafood dishes. Next favorite of mine was the Bellagio it has peeled shrimp and Alaskan king crablegs ALL READY cut in half for you so you just need to take your fork and pull it out no work involved. They also have sushi. The other buffet i went to was the Sahara and for the 10$ price it was excelent lunch buffet but not much seafood besides swordfish. Good luck and make sure you go to the Bellgio (about 67 dollars for 2 and the Seafood buffet at the rio ALL YOU Can Eat lobster cut in half for you already........ for 2 it cost us $79.??

Texas Station get's my vote and I also like the Bellagio and the Rio for the reason's mentioned above.

The best value buffets are not on the strip.
The strip is for tourists that don't have transportation to get off the strip, and are a captive audience for the overpriced meals. Way overpriced IMO.

Locals eat off the strip.

Try the Orleans, Silverton and Main Street Station (Downtown) for great value buffets, AND you can get 2 for 1 coupons for the buffets by oredering a book called
AMERICAN CASINO GUIDE 2007 Edition. (Author Steve Bourie) Available on Amazon, eBay etc. Coupons good until Dec '07, also good for some shows and a few casino bets.

You need to go downtown and get the FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCEfun book coupons for a Main St 2 for 1
It's well worth the cost of the book if you are going to LV for 3 or 4 days or more. LOADS of great coupons in this book.

Silverton Lunch Buffet is $9.95 and 2 for 1 in the book, amazing meal for 2 for $10 !!
Others are $15 max, but 2 for1's are in the book.

You need a car to get off the strip for Silverton or Orleans, but you can take a bus downtown for Main Street Stn.

Th book is WELL worth the cost if you are there for a few days with a car. Have Fun !

The buffets at the Bellagio and Wynn are better than the Rio, but also more expensive. If money doesn't matter the best buffet in Las Vegas is the Sunday Brunch at Bally's Steakhouse, which includes caviar.

My cat Jake owns me
We had our wedding reception at Paris-I loved their atmosphere, and the food was awesome. I especially liked their crepes-if you go, bring your own crab leg cracker-theirs are hard to work and it takes forever to get to the meat.

my favs are the rio buffets (they have 2) and "cravings" at the mirage. aladdin/planet hollywood used to have a really good one, but they suck now. i think rio would be your best bet for the lobster, crab legs and sushi, but you might want to check out bellagio too.
