It depends what you are looking for...city or country life? four seasons, humidity, desert, mountains, beaches, boating, skiing, etc.? I live in Utah and it's a great place with a little bit of everything (except the humidity). |

We live about 400metres from the beach where we watch dolphins play at sunset, watch turtles come up to lay their eggs, and walk across a sandbar to an island to see penguins and seals!!

Long Beach, CA
There's a lot of diversity, a true melting pot, and it's still laid back, on the beach, lots to do in the city and great for raising kids. Long Beach is not just the LBC of rap songs; every city has it's not so great area. It's a beautiful town right on the water that has so much to offer, with various neigborhoods/communities and venues from tourist attractions to restaurants, great weather, close to Los Angeles, but far enough away, a beautiful downtown. You can pretty much find everything there.
