California.
It has variety.
It can be hot it can be cold.
Beautiful.... lots of shopping.
Mostly clean (stay out of the big cities)
Rarely major poisonous spiders (all we have is the black widow and the brown R).
Pretty safe, just stay away from the major cities.
Its lovely here. |

Have to say Texas...no state income tax, inexpensive housing, plenty of jobs, warm, hot and cold weather depending on which part of the state your in. You have the beach, the mountains, desert and forests all within driving distance. It's a great place to live. |

Dallas Texas. Were hit the least by the recession, for example alot of major companies are moving to tx because our economy is still comparatively strong. Schools are great. People have great southern hospitality. Right now its winter and it feels like Spring. Cost of living isn't high, pay is great. Our economy is booming when other states are slowly falling off. We have one of the largest malls in usa. Also malls all over, close to pretty much any neighborhood. Very clean, fair police. Nice southern weather. Not many natural disasters to be scared of. If you dont want to live in Dallas, there are alot of suburbs surrounding Dallas that you can live in, which is close enough to the city but still in a private area, like irving or Arlingten. Oh and also super bowl 2011 and All star Game 2011 will be hosted in Dallas Tx. Lots of fun!!! |

California, Washington, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts. Basically just stay on either coasts, avoid the mid-west and the deep south. |

I think Georgia also because our weather is great. I lived there for twenty four years around Athens and I only saw snow enough to accumulate twice. It is also very low on crime based on the state rankings and lots of shopping in Atlanta. |

Arizona, has cheap living, its safe if you go down more to queen creek area, not alot of shopping unless ur willing to drive 20 min, i rarely see spiders or bugs down here, its clean, but as for crime, its safe mostly, but anywhere you go now especially with the economy is gonna have some kind of crime.
Commenting on guns, if thats what you're looking for lol, Arizona is better, you dont have to register it, and they're trying to pass a new law that you can conceal carry without a permit unless you plan on going on school grounds, then you need a permit. |
