Best states to visit in the usa?

Where to visit in the US depends on what you like to do. it will be hot just about every place here so come prepared to wear shorts and sandals.

My suggestions with a few reasons why:

New Mexico - it is multicultural- Spanish, Indian, and French; a lot of art galleries in Santa Fe and Taos; a lot of history; unique places to go such as Chimyo, Truchas, Trumpas

California - average temperature is 70 degrees; free things to do such as going to the beach or mountains; Rodeo drive; drive up to Santa Barbra; check out The Orange County Register and LA Times for free places to go and other information. Riding down to San Diego on the train is fun and scenic.

Utah - if you like to hike or backpack, try Zion National Park or Bryce Canyon.

Arizona - If you fly into Phoenix, drive up towards Flagstaff, stop at Sedona on the way, it is beautiful and great for photographers. If hiking isn't your thing and you would like to see what I think is the most cowboy of cowboy towns in the US go to Tucson.

Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota - These two towns are known as the Twin Cities. First of all, the natives are some of the best we have in this country, the cultural sites are terrific and the restaurants rival anything in any part of the world yet it is one of the best/worst kept secrets we have in the US. Travel agents rarely suggest The Twin Cities. While there I recommend you go to the Modern Art Museum, The Walker Art Center (you may not be able to see it all so check it out on the internet before and take their virtual tour). There are a lot of small theaters and outdoor art shows, you will need to do some research. Minneapolis has the largest shopping center in the States (maybe the world) with a roller coaster and other amusement; it is The Mall of America in Bloomington, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis.

I hope there is at least one idea here that will be of interest to you. These are a few of the places I have lived in or visited and they rank as my favorits.

Have fun and enjoy. Oh, I almost forgot, Estes Park, CO. they have a great Hostile and the Black Hills in North Dakota.

Well the best place is California! If you come 2 California go 2 L.A. or Orange County. You can also need 2 go 2 a beach! Just any beach. I know that because I live in L.A.

Nevada!!! there's tahoe and reno... and vegas too if you're willing to go that far...

california, yosemitte is there, and a few hours away from there is big trees national park (hecka cool if you'r into the nature thing), and a few hours the other way is jamestown, the first settlement in cali because of the goldrush; then there's also san fransisco-the warf, and what not...

Don't go anywhere in the south or SW because it will be too hot then. Unless you really want to gamble then goto LV.

HAWAII, hands down. None of the others compare.

But Michigan is gorgeous in the summer. It has the best beaches in the country but only in August; fresh water and fine powdery sand.

If you want to see one of the 7 wonders of the world, go to Arizona for the Grand Canyon, or to Niagra Falls.

I think that Washington state is the best. It offers the ocean, mountains, plains, desert. Along with the varying features come varying activities such as snowboarding, sailing, horseback riding and everything in between. Also, the rain is bearable and not a 7 day a week downpour.
