I don't know where you are, but if you're in the area, you can check out the Kansas WIldlife Exhibit (http://www.gpnc.org/kansas.htm ). Or you can see a list of mammals here: http://www.gpnc.org/mammals.htm

Here's a list of museums and nature centers around the state:
http://www.kdwp.state.ks.us/news/kdwp_info/locations/museums_and_nature_centers

Or you could request materials through here: http://www.kdwp.state.ks.us/news/other_services/education/wildlife_education_services/wildlife_education_materials

I hope that all helps give you a good head start in your research!

If you're looking for wildlife in Kansas, I'd suggest checking out Lawrence!

moveplease
course there are silly. I saw a coyote sitting on a hillside while coming home from KC the other day. We see deer all the time, skunks, possums (eeww), etc. Don't run into too many snakes though. Lizards, geese, ducks,...

yes, we have tons of deer, rabbits, squirrels, bobcats, mice, racoons, opossums, owls, falcons, hawks, foxes, coyotes, turtles and a few cougars. There are rattle snakes, copper heads and water moccasins.

Tree sparrows? Ants?
