I used to live in California, and wouldn't want to live there any more, now l live in Colorado. I wouldn't mind visiting California for a week or two, but I am much more comfortable in Colorado.

I live in Colorado. I love it here. Wouldn't go to California if you PAID me!

The great Will Rogers once noted: "When the Oakies left Oklahoma and moved to California, they raised the average intelligence of BOTH states!

Assuming Rogers was right, you might want to consider Colorado!

I like California because it has everything. We have the mountains and the beach. We have plenty to do. You can go to Yosemite, Disneyland, go to a baseball, football,or basketball game. There are many nice places to live. I live in the San joaquin valley. It is really pretty and one of the AG capitals of the world.

i duno about colorada but i might choose colorado because LA where i live now is overpopulatied overpopulated and downrigth noisy. the traffic is hell. thats probably a good enough reason for me to move.

Colorado.
I've lived in both states. Moved as an adult to CO, then to CA. What I like about CO is the outdoor activities. I lived in the suburbs of Denver and was able to get to the great oudoors, mountains, etc., pretty quickly. In CA, I lived in the SF Bay area. I had to fight awful traffic to get anywhere. I've been to Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Mt Shasta, Monterey, SF, Pismo Beach, Santa Cruz, Dana Pt, L.A., Sausalito, Muir Woods, and more. All are beautiful. But I would choose Colorado over California. There is something natural and beautiful still about Colorado. California has been overabused by humans. Everybody treks to the places I mentioned b/c they are the only "natural" places left. So, they are overpopulated, and touristy. In Colorado, you can drive into the mountains, get out and hike, climb, bike, etc. With no one around. Plus, the air is crisp and clean. There is nothing like the rocky mountain air. I go back to CA for business trips. A weekend is long enough for me. I have not been back to CO since I moved away. (Though I've driven through twice). I cannot wait to get back and ski.

there is a reason they talk about the "californication" of Colorado, they're all moving here (To CO) because it's better! Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins are all pretty nice. I don't really like California, but if you like the ocean i guess that's a plus

iwant Candy!
I live in Colorado but I love both so much!

Colorado, because I love the mountains and I don't have to worry about earthquakes. (Also, California seems to have more fires there than we do here.)

I live in San Francisco and love it here.
Denver is nice, new and gets the four seasons if you enjoy that.
SF has many micro climates, so we may not get all 4 seasons in the same city but any temp you want you can find within a short drive.
SF is more diverse, is heavily populated, and is a trendsetting city.
Denver is sort of a new town, compared to SF, so the history isn't as rich, there aren't that many places that are original, and they are at a higher altitude which sucks becuase the car drives slower, its harder to climb up and down stairs, and you get nose bleeds.
SF is at sea level which is very comfortable for my body.
Marijuana is legal in SF if you have a prescription, not in denver though.
There are lots of reasons to live in SF compared to Denver. But my views may differ, I am a 27 year old hippie chick who goes to golden gate park and ocean beach as often as possible to catch a drum circle session and the sunset.
I visit denver because my cousins was relocated there (thanks united airlines), and he stayed ever since because it is at a different pace and the cost of living is lower. The downtown isn't that great, everything is new and clean but thats because they have fewer people. They don't know what a filipino is in denver, and look at me funny, yeah I also don't get served because of my skin color. Maybe thats not a problem for you, but in sf everyone gets service.
