Well, if it's just the beautiful scenery you're looking for you've obviously got lots of choices. But if you want beautiful people, also, the only choice you have it DENVER!
The Rocky Mountains peaks give way to the urban coridoor and the sprawling Eastern Plains of Colorado. There's nothing like taking a run with giant, snowy peaks in the background. But the people are great as well! Since it's in the Heartland people are still traditional, rooted in faith and family, and have their priorities straight. |

I live in Port Hueneme, CA.
It's located between LA & Santa Barbara, so it's right in the middle of everything without the traffic.
The city is near the beach, and our mountains get snow as well, so if you feel like snow, it's only about a 45 minute drive.
We don't have the smog that big cities have and the area is really quiet and I plan on raising my family here.

The Seattle area is quite beautiful. We have MOUNTAINS nearby.....including Mount Rainier to the south and Mount Baker to the north. We have Puget Sound to the west and Lake Washington to the east.
To the west of the big city of Seattle we have the quaint and charming Port Townsend with classic 19th century homes and buildings all overlooking Puget Sound.
If you have high tech skills, the Seattle area and western Washington is the place to settle in. |

Ashland, Oregon appeals to me because it is home to the Shakespeare Old Globe Theater and is rural and lovely as well. Berkeley, California is lovely. Virginia was so lovely and green and rural everywhere I saw when we visited Willliamsburg. Big Bear, California is up in the mountains 8,000 ft. Santa Barbara is right at the coast, yet has some lovely hill country and Westmont College is interesting. |

You need to go to San Francisco, it is beeyoootiful. I would love to live in Sausalito, its stunning...its right by the way, hilly, green and just breath taking. The weather is just perfect, its not too hot in the summers and its pretty cold but doesnt snow in the winters. You'll love it! |

Well, I live in Hawaii and love it here! Depends on how big of a city you want to live in. You could move to Oahu and live somewhere around Honolulu, but it is fairly expensive there. I live on the island of Maui and live off it's nothe shore in a small town called Haiku. It is quite, somewhat affordable, easy going and laid back, and if i want to drive 15 minutes each way I can be in the bigger city of Kahului for needed supplies and work. However an extended stay here to realize the realities of paradise is highly suggested, as its not all Aloha all the time like people make it out to be.
good luck deciding! |
