Absolutely. There may be some hidden 1800's archaic laws concerning cohabitation amongst non married people sharing the same room, but, thankfully, those laws are so well hidden in dust or declared non-executory, that there's nothing - absolutely nothing - to worry about in the US.

US hotels don't care who stays together in a hotel room, as long as you are both over 18 and one of you pays.

If it's not proper in your culture you should consider if you really ought to, but there is no law restricting it.

I think you two can be of any reasonable age to rent a hotel room, however we do have age of consent laws restricting sexual activity between minors and adults and such. These vary on a state by state basis, but if you are both over 18, there will be no problems in any state. If you are not both over 18, and are of different ages, look up the laws in the state you are looking to stay in.

We believe in this type of behavior so much that we invented a new type of lodging to promote it : The Motel
The guy walks in ,registers -you will need to show ID-while the lady in queston waits in the car.
He gets the room ,they drive over to where the room is and walk directly into it from the parking lot.
There are no nosy desk clerks to deal with nor nosy guests.
How cool is that ?

Probably not ILLEGAL anywhere in USA -- but don't forget to also ask your own Moral Authority; whether or not this is acceptable in your faith tradition and/or your cultural tradition.

yeah im pretty sure you dont have to be married to stay in a hotel room together...lol that's where most guys take prostitutes. Well if i were you if the hotel is some cheap place make sure you dont sleep with their comforter...they never wash them and who knowwwwwws what the people in that room before you did lol.

Hey...nobody cares! Just don't do like one couple I knew yonks ago who signed themselves in as Mr. and Mrs. Bugs Bunny. I saw an old hotel register in Devon one time [when licensing hours were quite different and you had to be a registered guest to go on drinking in a hotel bar after closing] and saw that the Duke and Dookuss of Windsor were visiting...no lie!
