I am from Southern California, If you are 16 don't count on being let into ALL the "pubs" maybe some that are resturaunts as well especially if you are not a celeb. Go to Disneyland in Anaheim. That is an experience that will never be topped. Lotsa shopping, bring lotsa money, many stores you will not see anywhere else... Even though it will be winter, check out a beach, I don't know where you are from, but the waves are amazing to just watch. Water on the left coast is much colder than the east, so don't bother jumping in. Go tho Growman's Chinese Theater and check out the hand prints, go along and follow the Hollywood Walk of Fame wich begins outside the theater. Make your own fun. You'll love it.!!

Universal City Walk, is a great place to go for a teen. Lots of things to see and do. If you like to shop there are malls all over the place. USC and UCLA villages. why not check out future possibilities, your parents will probably love that!

Very expansive - public transport sucks so if you dont have a car its like being at seam with out a sail

LA is expensive and driving through the city sucks. But there is a lot of nightlife, I just don't know specifics.

I am sorry to tell you this, but you can't even walk into pubs here at 16, and a lot of clubs where they sell alcohol. Some let you wear bracelets, others don't. LA is amazing though, and you always have the colleges to party at, age is not important there.
Non ti devi preocupare, si voi bere solamente trova qualcuno vicino di un'unversita, e cosi poi devirtirsi. A Los Angeles, solamente gente di 26+ bere nella "pubs"....

You can't HANDLE the TRUTH!

Think of a large, smelly farm llama. Stand behind it. Lift it's tail... See that brown, puckered hole that looks like a starfish? Put your finger deep inside it. Pull it out. Is there anything on your finger? What color is it? Does it smell horrible?

There... that's L.A.

Plus, you can't get into any pubs or discos at your age. In the U.S., you have to be 18 to get into a club, and 21 to drink. Sorry!

Go shopping instead.

The most fun thing to do if you have 4 day is go to Dennys and order the number 6. You will be in every bathroom in LA for all 4 days. Trust me, you will see a ton of different bathrooms. I saw over 50.
