Smoking in public places in IL was banned 1/1/08. Unless Joe's has some deal with Mayor Daley, no, you can't smoke there. |

No. You can't smoke in any bar in Chicago. There are heavy fines for the owners if they don't comply. I live in Chicago. |

You can't smoke anywhere inside in IL anymore, it's terrible, nanny state. Downstate you can still smoke in bars, they don't follow the law. You can usually find a small local dive bar around you that you can still smoke in too. |
