Chicago because you can't get lost (since it's just a big square) and the people are nice. seriously. Not only that, but there isn't like a terrible accent that gets really annoying like New Yorkers have. and the best part is the lake. I mean, all three cities are on a body of water but nothing is worse than swimming at the beach and suddenly getting a huge gulp of salt. Obviously lake michagan isn't a salt lake so that just makes it ten times better. The shopping is fabulous, the spirit for the sports teams is great, and Chicago also has the best venues for concerts. I'd definetely say Chicago :D |

Chicago is best. New York has to many people in central locations. L.A has traffic problems that are a headache. |

Los Angeles definitely. Nice weather, awesome beaches, friendly people, diverse food selection, many choices of activities, and great nightlife |

I've never been to L.A. but New York is dirty and claustrophobic. Chicago is clean (atleast when I saw it, it was I heard from others about it being dirty) and beautiful.
I loved the Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza.
But I also loved the New York Style Cheese Cake.
I love NY because there is so much to do. But I love Chicago for the same reason.
I have to say Chicago is number one followed really closely by New York. |

I went to L.A and NYC a few years ago and loved both for very different reasons.
L.A has fantastic weather but i would recommend Santa Monica rather than L.A, Venice Beach was amazing, as was Santa Monica pier and u can always get a cab in to L.A.
I loved NYC for the shopping and great food and of course the famous landmarks.
Macys was wicked if u are a tourist u get 10% discount on purchases on a wednesday u just need to get a coupon from Customer Services.
It all really depends on what type of holiday u are looking for...
Where ever u go have fun. |

It depends on what you're looking for. Temperature wise, if you're looking for warm and luxurious, go to L.A. If you don't mind windy and cold, go to Chicago. If you're flexible both ways cold and warm, go to New York. None is really more clean than the other, and none is really better than the other but I would have to lean on New York since it was one of the first cities in the New World and has nothing to do but grow and prosper. Plus, people on the other side of the world might not know Chicago or L.A., but I bet they'd definitely know New York. It's like a second Tokyo. |

Chicago is a great city to settle down but if your a bachelor you can rent great apartments in the loop with pools and gyms, while in NYC to live in great apartments you have to be rich however in LA you can live in big houses and go to beaches but is the most violent of them.
If you have enough money, NYC
If your looking to settle down in a few years, Chicago
If you want a house and likes hot weather, LA |

Although I have never been to NYC or LA, I can tell you about Chicago. It is a very beautiful city. It is like the beautiful lake inspired the creation of the wonderful buildings. There is a lot to do there and it is very easy to learn the city. People are friendly. My first visit to the city the friendliness of the people is what I noticed first. There are people from all over the world and they celebrate their cultures with festivals in order to share it with others. Then there is the beautiful Lake Michigan. I make it a point to take a boat ride on the lake every summer. Also, the food in Chicago is wonderful, even take out food is great. Something that cannot be said about many cities, like DC of Baltimore. Not to say they don't have some good food. It just seems like eateries in Chicago are proud of their product and keep the quality high. When I go to DC, I cannot stand the take out. |

I would rank them in this order:
1. NY
2. Chicago
3. LA
I like NY the best (obviously, because I *choose* to live here).
I would rank Chicago very closely behind NY. It has a lot to offer and is the cleanest of the 3 cities. It is probably the best place to raise a family out of the three.
LA is a nice place if you're looking to get into an acting field, but you will spend way too much time commuting in a car. Unlike NYC or Chicago, it does not have a very reliable mass transit system so a car is definitely needed. |

My father has lived in all of those cities, and his favorite by far is New York. New York is so diverse; it's like a whole world in a city. Chicago has bad weather, and L.A. is terribly crime-ridden. |
