Choose one... Boston, Alaska or New Orleans... Which one is best for a road trip? |
My bros are totally nuts and want to take a road trip this summer... My mentally challenged one wants to drive 5000 miles in 7 days to visit Alaska... My somewhat sane bro wants Boston... I think New Orleans is good cause of the atmosphere... Help.. Need some good input....

New Orleans if you want to get get shot in a slum city. a car full of black guys traveling 5000 in 7 days will need to bring a lot of bail money and unless your gay there is no reason to go to boston. why not stick with Decatur GA? |

I live in Alaska........... but have lived in Boston.
You will have much more fun, see more sights, meet more nice people on a road trip to Alaska than anywhere else.
7 days isn't much time - 14 to 21 would be better. You can do all sorts of things from watching big wild animals, go fishing and actually catch fish, or pan for gold. Alaska has many places along the highways that are open to the public to pan. My father in law got lucky a few years ago..... he was thrilled.
Definitly more to do here than anywhere else.

5000 miles in 7 days.... that is like 900 &^&^@*# miles aday....you guys @*!@$&(*!#@. I sure as &H#*( would not want to rent the car that you all drive in. That thing will (*&(#$ reak of BO.
Also driving for 19 hours a day...what are you going to do...pee out the window. the mounties would love to watch that ..... four bros flying down the highway ... you are @*(#$& nutz!

It naturally depends upon your definition of the phrase "road trip". To some folks this means anarchy on wheels, to others a ride in the country with no beer bottles to fool with. If your road trip involves Armegeddon upon polite society, then Nawlins is the place to go. The only other wise choice is Alaska. You can get great seafood in either location, and can get the evil fire-water. It is a question of atmosphere, and do you want one? It is my personal opinion as professional tour guide and part-time brain surgeon and delivery of newspapers, that the atmosphere of Alaska and southern Loisianna to be very different. Nawlins is hot with many things, temperature included. Alaska not known for hot-ness, unless one gets off on moose. Alaska has an atmosphere of...air. Lots of it, not in cigar cloud formations.
Your question has its own inherent answers. Depending upon what you wants, there will you go. Life is like a road trip; it is laid out and can be hard, but have car will travel. |

New Orleans is awesome!! The music, food, people, and overall atmosphere is just really fun. It is too bad you can't make it for mardis gras down there, that is one huge party for 3 days!! |
