The only way you can stay in the castle is if you're personally invited (as in the 'year of a million dreams', they would randomly walk up to someone and pick them to stay in the castle that night). Other than that there is only a restaurant and office space.

dr_nigel_c
Lots of incorrect info here, so I'll try to clear it all up.

There is a suite in Cinderella Castle (sleeps 4 to 5, I think) -- but you cannot pay to stay in it. It was put together as a "prize" for the "Year of a Million Dreams" celebration that has been going on for the last 2 years (they extended it).

Disney employees (Cast Members) are in the theme parks every day, randomly handing out prizes (Mickey Mouse ears, Dream FastPasses, etc.). One of the prizes each day is a stay overnight in the castle.

Again -- you cannot book it or pay to stay there -- it's given as a prize only.

No official announcement has been made regarding allowing folks to pay to stay there.

There is a restaurant in the castle -- called Cinderella's Royal Table. It's very good.

Walt Disney originally had built an apartment inside Cinderella's castle where he intended to live. Walt died before Walt Disney World ever opened though, and that space was used for nothing but storage after that.

In recent years, the room was turned into Cinderella's Suite. It was created as part of 2007's Year of a Million Dreams, and continued into 2008's Year of a Million Dreams. Every day, a computer randomly generates a place & time. The Disney Dream Squad goes to that place at that time, and chooses the person who is there and awards them with one night in the castle.

For example -the computer could generate "Pirates of the Carribbean, 2nd row, at 10:04 AM". The person sitting there at that time would get the award. They could accept or decline it. If they accept it, they are taken to the suite that night only. As of now, the people who win this award daily are the only people to ever see or stay in the room. Disney workers cannot see it, other than those who help award it. There is no tour of it. You cannot pay to see it or stay in it.

Celebrities have offered millions to stay in it, and have been declined every time. Photo of the suite are available here:

http://www.mousesavers.com/castlesuitephotos.html

In 2009, Disney's new promotion will begin, called "Celebrations". It is promoting celebrations like graduation, honeymoons, weddings, birthdays and more. Nobody has any information on what will become of the castle. Rumor has it that they may reserve it only for Make A Wish Foundation, and other such charities. Other rumors say that it will stay something that will be awarded each day to random guests.

Nobody knows for sure, but because of the amount of money put into it, I know it's not just going to sit there. I highly doubt disney will ever put a price tag on it though.

There is a restaurant in the castle. You can reservations there to eat lunch and dinner.
You cannot rent out the room at the top to stay in. No one can. During the Year of a Million Dreams, people at random where chosen to stay one night there.

Some of these answers are incorrect heres the right info--

Yes its called Cinderella's Castle (not Sleeping Beautys that is in Disneyland California)

The only places inside the Castle open to the public are the restaurant called Cinderellas Royal Table and the suite Cinderellas Royal Suite. To eat in the restuarant simply call and make reservations to stay in the suite you must be randomly picked in the park, its part of their Year of a Million dreams celebration.

I do agree with the person who mentioned the Grand Floridian though. If you don't mind spending the money there is a ballroom you can rent there. But if you're on a budget there are many princess like places at Disney World.

Good luck ! =]

There is a room that you can stay in there, but I believe for now you have to be selected randomly to stay there. Tripadvisor.com is the place for info on Disneyworld or traveling anywhere. It is a free site and someone there will know exactly what you need to know.

Magg's
Yes. My grand kids just got back from Disney World and they had breakfast in the castle with the princess. Had a great time.

pikabu mom: it is NOT sleeping beauty's castle. sleeping beauty's castle is at disneyLAND in california.
it IS cinderellas castle. cinderellas castle is in disneyWORLD in flroida.

yes there is a restaurant in cinderellas castle and there is also a suite.
the suite is not for rent. currently it is a prize of the year of a million dreams contest. the winner of the one night stay will be announced on dec 31st and perhaps after that they will allow it to be rented out. and i'm sure that only the very wealthy will be able to afford a night there.

there aren't any other places to stay that are quite that special at disney world. but there are some pretty awesome hotels. if you want high class i'd choose one of the deluxe resorts that have access directly to the monorail system. these resorts are the grand floridian, the polynesian, and the contemporary.

I think the castle is a major disappointment. It's the centerpiece but falls really short when you're up close. I've never been in the room which I imagine is magnificent, but super $$$$$.

http://hotels.about.com/od/disneyworld/ig/Cinderella-Suite/

Now is probably a great time to go, they are hurting big time due to lousy economy. There are many very fancy hotels and many themes to choose from. I believe for birthdays right now they have deal as well as buy 2 nights get 2 free.

Go to their site (not the most easily navigable) and see what you can find. Have a great time!

Jewish Mother
Yes, you can. But it'll cost a pretty penny, mind you. Although I'm not sure if the suite is actually open for business yet. There is only a single suite in the castle (btw, it's Sleeping beauty's castle) so they can basically charge whatever they please.

Josh K
they have liek 2 rooms in the top, but they are like OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. like you have to win a trip there for it to be decently affordable. lol.

as for somewhere else....
i have no idea. you might want to google*AHEM* i mean "Yahoo" something...
(that just doesnt sound right...)

Maddie S
there is a room but it costs lots of money and you have to get special permission to stay there oh and you have to book it like 2 years ahead
