Absolutely go in February!!! Especially if you have young children and a toddler. Kids cannot handle standing in line, and you could be in lines for hours especially if you chose to go in April. You will not get your money-worth because the children will get bored, irritable, and then they will make you angry, and most likely, you will leave the parks early and you will miss out on all the excitement that Disney can be!! You want to go when it's not overly busy and when the weather is cooler and more comfy. For some people it is a once in a lifetime experience so it is VERY important that you chose the right time of year to go! Hopefully your brother and his girlfriend will take into consideration other peoples needs and desires as well, and it will never hurt to pull your kids out of school for a few days... the schools allow you to make arrangements in advance for their homework etc. Good luck I hope you get to go in February and I hope you have a great time!!! |

I would definitely go during February. In April, you'll have families going during their kids 'spring vacation' from school or over the Easter holiday. I went with my family in February and the lines were very short and the park wasn't too crazy. The only con was that it was a little too cool to use the hotel pool in the evenings. |

February is betta cause it's cooler. The rest of the year is just too hot to go. |

I think February would be the best, since the time frame around Easter in Orlando is the busiest time of the year for the theme parks. |

I would suggest going in February, I have been there during Easter Break and it's crazy! You can expect 45 min.to 1 1/2 hour wait for rides during Easter Break time, and if planning on going to the Magic Kingdom, plan it as a two day park with lines that long you'll never have enough time to cover the entire park! I've also been in February and alot less people, and I don't think we waited more than 15-20 minutes for a ride. Also the weather can be a bit cooler but when we were there we had a beautiful week low 80's and sun all week. If it were me, I would choose February, even if it's only in the 70's it still is great weather to attend the parks. |

Well, I advise that you don't go during April, as many people will be vacationing in Florida because of Spring Break. |

Feb is cooler. April can be decent. The April week may fall in a spring break/easter week of vacation. I don't know when easter falls next year. Many schools have the week before or the week after off. If it doesn't that week could be fine. Feb should be fine. It could actually get a bit cool or rainy then. More likely not, but you never know. It is just before spring training baseball starts, so it may not be too crowded then either. It really is a coin flip. Check it out both ways and compare the costs. Good Luck! |

I have been to Disney World many times, when I was younger. Grandparents lived right off the strip. We always went when there was spring break and it always ended up with us standing in line for many hours, due to the fact that every other family was doing the Easter break thing too. Now that I have my own child, I have taken him once so far and it happend to be in Feb.. I will also be taking him again this year in......Feb. Yes, it is not as hot as Spring months, but when you are outside doing Disney with children it is a blessing. Not to mention it is off season for alot of hotels and resorts. |

Go in February because it is one of the coolest months in Florida. By April it is already heating up past 80 degrees. We went to Magic Kingdom on the last day of March this year and it was already very warm. The lines for Space Mountain (my daughter's favorite) and Thunder Mountain have the longest wait times. |

I would go to the education area & see if anyone can tell you how to find websites for schools in the area. I would rather go when less schools are on vacation. |

In my opinion, I'd say around early October. Its a perfect time because its after the busy summer months, kids are back in school, its early enough to avoid the holiday rush, and the weather is still nice in Orlando. |

I'd say Feb, it will be cooler...
i took my crew in June and it was awful.
Animal kingdom was our favorite park.
try to plan breakfast at 'donalds breakfasorius' or something like that.. (you have to set it up ahead of time) you can meet and take pics (autographs) with all the characters instead of standing in line for each one. |

I would choose april simply because of the weather. I don't think there will be any difference on the crowd since it's not on school holiday season yet |

I would say go during the school season or when there is not a lot of people at disney world because we went there in summer break and it was packed we had to wait 2 hours to get on every ride it was really really boring so go there when there is fewer people |

February is the better time to go. Most people have traveled over the holidays (Thanksgiving, christmas, new years) and february can be relatively slow. April coincides with Easter and some spring breaks. It's defintely cooler in february, but the days can be pretty warm. |

Defiantly Feb : )
I went around the same time (feb. 12 - 28), because it will not be as crowded. (My mother told me.)
One bad thing though is that, the 'sea world' or whatever that place is, is probably closed. It opens in the summer time/ spring time.
April would be nice too, but the prices go higher as it gets closer to summertime, plus it gets more crowded. |

Seems like this is a popular question at the moment. This is the third time I've answered this basic question. I created a blog entry with reviews of a couple of web sites which will give you crowd predictions at http://disneyworldadvice.blogspot.com/2008/08/what-will-crowds-be-like.html
In general February is going to be better based on crowds, but check out the crowed predictions on those sites since there are often special events going on that can really affect the crowd levels.
Also, if you end up going during a busy time, it's worth checking out the touring plans that available. They can really help you avoid lines. |

Christmas is an amazing time to go because it's beautifully decorated, there are parades every day and there are usually good price deals. |
