It depends on whether you can afford to go back later. If you can, your older kids are the perfect ages, and take them now. Your 4 year old is too young for much of the best of WDW, so you would need to take him/her back later.
See this page on how old/tall your kids should be for Disney World for more on the why. There are also links on the page that can help in managing a trip with kids of different ages if you end up taking them all now: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-first-family-trip/how-oldtall-your-children-should-be/
Hope this helps and have a great trip! Dave |

It depends. If by "magical" you mean you want them to believe that they are actually seeing Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and whatever characters are there, your older kids have already surpassed that.
If you mean them having a blast there, you have a while. I went there when I was 13 and I really enjoyed it. If you are planning on taking them to *lots* of Six Flags-type parks when they get older, they may get jaded and think that the Disney rides aren't as fun. Otherwise, they will have fun. In a couple years, you can let the two older ones go off without parents (sticking together of course), and they will have more fun at that age when parents are "embarrasing" to them. |

I am 22 and still love going there as much as possible. Me and my husband first took our son when he was 2. It was my first time being there also. Im pretty sure I had more fun than him. He is almost 4 now and we have been 8 times everyone still loves it. So no I dont think they will outgrow the magicical side of it. |

That is hard to say, they are great ages now. At least the 9 and 8 year olds are. But I am nearly 50 and love the place. I would easly go every other month if I had the funds. If you need to postpone, know they will love it whenever you go. |

You should actually be good then with your kids. I would probably say four is a good age on up. I first went when I was four and I remember the trip. I took my two year old last month and she liked it. So you never really can tell. It just depends. If you think they will like it and enjoy it, then go for it. I don't think they will ever "outgrow" the magical side of it. To be completely honest with you, I have been four times and I am in my mid twenties and I still see the magical side of it! I know it really sounds corny, but it truly is the most magical place on earth in my opinion! |

i would wait for a year or two. boys usually grow out of it faster but 4 is awfully young. if your gunna spend the money to fly down there and get in, you want them to remember it. we took my cousin down with us when she was about that age and I doubt she remembers any of it. I was in 3rd grade when I first went and I loved it. |

The first time i went to Disney world, i was with my family - my mom and dad (in their mid-30's), my 17 year old sister, and i was 8.... to this day, i still remember all of the 'magic' of going. and now i'm 16, and i went last month with some of my friends, and it was just as fun then as it was 8 years ago!
but you should know, the 'adult age' at disney is ten years old, so you would have to pay for one or even two adult tickets instead of child tickets if you wait to go...
and don't forget to take advantage of 'fastpass', you won't have to wait in the long line - that could make your 4-year-old a bit grumpy!!
hope this helps!!!!! have a good time when you do go...

definitely. I think that my 4 year old was the one who loved it the most when he was three. Now, he is the one that is constantly asking to go back. Because of him, we have been back since then and going back in Sept. Ours are 7,6,4, and 2. They all loved it but it was the 4 year old who looked at things as if he was in a wonderland, who was shaky when he met jack sparrow because he was sure it was really him, and who blushed when he saw snow white bc to him, she is truly beautiful. Don't wait. Even if you can't afford it. Charge it. Because debt is better than finding out that you can never buy time. It is something that no parent should miss in a childhood that lasts almost as long as the blink of an eye. |

It is definatley cheaper for tickets for you to go before they are over 10. Yes your 4 year old wont remember as much as the older siblings. But that is why you will have photos and video.
I started going when I was in Kindergarten and I remember meeting Mickey & Minnie and all characters and the major rides (dumbo, space mountain, spaceship earth, teacups, 20000 leagues, etc) and loved it. But as I got older it got even better because I was able to venture out on rides that the rest of my family didnt want to ride (splash mountain, thunder mtn, haunted mansion).
You will enjoy it no matter when you take them. But your older 2 might start to outgrow things in 2 years. Plus school for them in 2 years time will be getting much tougher and it wont be as easy to pull them out of school and extra curricular activities (if you choose so). |

I wouldnt go younger than 8! You want them to remember the trip! The first time I went to Disney, I was 13 and it was the best trip I had ever been on! My youngest brother at the time was about 9 and he still remembers it!
Now I'm 20 and I still LOVE disney! I am actually going again in about a couple weeks |

I just got back from a week at Disney with my 2 boys 8 and 3. I heard a lot of people say the 3 year old wouldn't enjoy it, but he had an awesome time!!! I think your kids are the perfect age if you don't try to pack to much into one trip. We arrived at the parks early, ate lunch, and then left around one to swim and rest at the hotel. Most nights we went back to one of the parks for a few hours. We missed all the big crowds and the boys had a great time. Good Luck to you!! |

Any age is a great time to go...oc course as mentioned kids tickets are ages 3-9...so waiting means you will pay adult prices for the older kiddos...so that does make it more expensive.
My kids are 8, 6, &2 and they all love Disney but I am totally the biggest fanatic. I dont think the magic ever goes away...it just evolves. My oldest one knows it is just people in costumes but she will play along for the littler ones for the character magic. She still loves getting her pics with them too.
I personally would wait until your 4 year old is 44 inches tall. my kids were all that tall at 4...but my boyfriends' daughter was 6 before she made the height requirement.
Once they are all that tall - then they all can ride everything in magic kingdom. |

By all means postpone your Walt Disney World trip by a year or two, it doesn't matter too much because Disney's Magic is great for everyone, young and old. I am a proud father of 3 boys and 1 one the way, hopefully a princess and I think I am more excited about Disney World than they ever will be...so they'll never outgrow Disney, ever. |

I have a 4 year old daughter and I am taking her to disney magic kindom in august because she's into all the disney character. I think it will be the best time she have because I have done research on which park would be the best and I think that the magic kingdom have more things that she would enjoy. She can always have the pictures as a memory of being there at the age of 4. |

Well, teenagers do tend to get a become a little resistant to the whole idea of Disney, but on the inside they enjoy it. You have a few more years until then, but now they are really good ages. |
