Well, I honestly don't care. I think everyone who has gone to Disney World at least 3 times knows enough good tips to share. |

Well, first off..only the people who work for Disney and know all the tricks are Disney experts. Disney is really expensive so people who have been around 4-6 times and are young, thats pretty good and they should know alot about disney.
I know people (who are 20 years old) and they have never been to Disney..not once so they dont know hardly anything. So in a way, people who have been to Disney around 4-6 times, are experts..they know alot more than most people do who only have been once or never at all. |

I happen to be a Disney Cast Member and even as a Cast Member I still dont consider myself an expert. There is so much to see, so much to do, and so much changing everyday that its hard to keep up. |

I AM a Disney expert. Don't judge me.
I think it is just weird that somebody can actually manage to say that in a regular-person conversation. You may just want to stop listening to them, and think of a bright new idea to talk about. |

Everyone who answers thinks they are a Disney expert. I have been there about 15 times, but the suggestions and comments that I give to someone about how I do things when I go to Disney may not work for everyone. I was in Disney in March with my sister and her family, my Mom and Dad, and my family. We all have different ideas of how to do Disney. My wife, kids and I like to get up early and hit the parks, then come back and rest, then go back until the park closes. My sister and her clan likes to sleep in, get there when they get there, and then go back later. All of these answers are suggestions to make your trip more enjoyable, but no one can TRULY be a Disney expert!! |

Honey, I've been to WDW a half dozen times, and my friends & family consider me a "Disney expert" because I've given them many helpful / reliable tips for their visits; however, I would hardly consider myself an expert because even though I have had a lot of different experiences at WDW, there is much more that I HAVEN'T seen / done! I am more than happy to provide tips that have worked for me when I visit, but WDW is a HUGE place and they are always adding something new! (Which is why I keep going back!)
God bless! ;-)
Btw - the same person could go 50 times, but if they keep doing the same thing every time, they'd hardly be an expert on WDW, would they? Lighten up - life's too short! |

It takes a lot more than that for me to hate a person. It is not how often they go, but how much research they have done. I have been much less than 50 times but I have read all the books on Disney World, and on Walt Disney. I an a great Disney Fan, not an expert a fan. |

I don't let it bother me.....

I've been to Disney quite a few times, but I'd never consider myself an expert. Each time I go, I see things that I've never seen before. Before I go each year, I still consult with info sites such as AllEars.com for tips and news on the latest additions. |

I have been to Disney numerous of times (first time going was in 1983) but I certainly do not call myself a Disney expert. I do, however, help those out that ask me questions about certain subjects, for instance how to manage your time at a Disney park when going during peak season. But that is because I am always up on current Disney news and am slated a "Disney Freak". I go on a LOT of Disney forums and websites and get a ton of info on it, if I can't answer someone's question, I always look it up. |

I'd prefer someone who has not only been to Disneyland/world but who worked for Disney and designed the logo you see on so many of their movies. (aka my boyfriend) But yeah, I freaking hate it when and someone asks what I do for a living and I say, "I'm artist" which usually prompts them to say something annoying like, "oh, me too!! I took an art class in high school." This is the recipe to instantly get on my bad side. |

I think it's impossible to be a Disney "expert", the shows, rides, events change bi annually. You would have to basically live there. I think the only people you might consider experts are actual Disney employees. And even they are separated. If you call you get one of those press 1 for dining, press 2......
It's almost like me saying I am a VISA expert. Just because I have 4 of them does not make me an expert. |
