magic kingdom by far is the best!
must rides in magic kingdom...
-space mountain
-buzz lightyear
-big thunder mountain
-splash mountain
-haunted mansion
-pirates of the caribbean
epcot has lots of shops the represent many different "countries". there's not many rides there. mission space, soarin (MUST RIDE) and the test track are about it. be sure to taste test the sodas from around the world in the coca cola shop.
animal kindom is my second favorite. it's a more laid back park. must rides are kilimanjaro safari, expedition everest and kali river rapids. there's some great shows there too!
disney studios (formerly mgm) is the park i'm the least familiar with. i do know my oldest son likes the rock and roll roller coaster. tower of terror and the stunt show.
be sure to watch the fireworks if you can at each of the parks except animal kingdom.
take advantage of the fast pass system for the popular rides.
as far as shops go outside of epcot, there's downtown disney (west side and marketplace). the main shopping area is the marketplace. there's all kinds of disney shops there. the west side has planet hollywood, worlds largest virgin records megastore, a movie theater, disneyquest, house of blues, etc.
hope you have fun on your trip! |

I would have to say Magic Kingdom is the best. It has so many rides and amazing sights. It makes you feel like a kid again. I think Animal Kingdom and Hollywood are a waste of time. Hollywood Studios only has the Tower of Terror and a bunch of dumb shows. Animal Kingdom is okay but can be boring for smaller kids and even adults. Epcot is for the very patient people who want to learn about cultures and science. It is not great for smaller kids unless they are obsessed with science and other countries. |

All the parks are great. It realy depends on how long you will be there. At the very least try to devote one day to each of the four major parks. |

magic kingdom-
-splash mountain
-thunder mountain
-Pirates
-Haunted Mansion

-emporium(gift shop)
-gift shop outside splash mountain
-pirates bazarr
-country bears

Unless you really want to, don't stop for parades. This is the best time to get on rides because every one is watching so there is less of a line up!
Have fun! |

Best park is the Magic Kingdom; everything else depends on who is going and how old they are, and how long you have to stay.
See this for how typical people view the rides: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-first-family-trip/basic-itinerary/comprehensive-guide-to-rides/
There's lots of other great stuff on the site too.
Good luck! Dave |

the best parks at Disney World are Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom....Epcot is ok but its alof of walking and not all the exciting..its more of a learning park instead of amusement park.....Hollywood Studios (MGM) only has 3 good rides and the rest of the park is a waste.
I spent 10 days only at disney in january and would have much rather gone to SeaWorld and Busch gardens a couple days rather than spending all 10 at Disney. |
