Disneyland in December?

Hi, I'm going to Disneyland this December, from the 14th to the 21st... And I have no idea what kind of clothing to bring. Does it get very cold in Anahiem? Also.... any other fun Winter sugestions for my trip? Thanks!!!

it does get quite cold and it will rain, so you will surely need a jacket.

I've been to Disneyland several times for Christmas. Expect it to be chilly at night for all the fireworks. I should be nice during the day, but bring a jacket just in case.
They have lockers where you can keep it if you don't need it.
It's extra fun there during the holidays too.
Knott's Berry Farm is close to Disneyland so if you have a hotel close by you'd have a great time there too.
It's more like Magic Mountain, but the old side is an old ghost town that kids love, and original school house, etc from the old west.
Great bakeries, candy stores, steak restaurant, chicken restaurant and tons of stores. The old side is free to enter and see everything there.
It's famous for it's jams and jellies so make sure to go in that store.
The Alligator Farm is fun for kids, really close to Knotts.
You'll be close to several Indian Casinos out that way too.

It can get pretty chilly in Anaheim that time of year! I recommend wearing jeans or comfortable pants and a light shirt, like a T-shirt. But pack a sweatshirt because you'll need it later in the day and especially at night.
December is a great time to visit Disneyland! It's a Small World is decorated in thousands of Christmas lights, the tree is up on Main Street, and the entire park is filled with Christmas decor.
Be sure to buy film or batteries for your camera before you get there (Disney charges an arm and a leg for stuff like that), and have a ball!

most likely be in the 70s. california is a desert so at night, make sure you bring a jacket, long slacks, sweater.

The locals think it is cold, but they are nuts. It will cool off when the sun goes down, so make sure you take a sweater along.

What I would do is check the weather online about a week or so before your trip. The weather should be about the same. As for other fun suggestions, go to the website for the city (http://www.anaheimoc.org/ ) and click "request a free visitors guide" on the right side. They will mail you a guide that has tourist locations, about them, hours of opperation, telephone numbers, etc. I do that for every city I visit.

It will only get cold in Anahiem at night. But not like east coast cold, more like 50's. If you can go to Big Bear or the Summit in Big Bear.

You're going to spend a week at Disneyland? Don't do it. Two days, max, one for each park. Go to Universal Studios for a day. Spend a day in Hollywood. Do something other than Disneyland.

December's usually pretty dry and mild. Bring light sweaters, some t-shirts, and a light jacket and you'll be fine.

It will most likely be in the 70's. Check out Universal Studios, it's awesome.

it's collllllllllld but a sweater will fix it...nothing too heavy just a sweater...but a denim jacket won't do it...it'll be too cold...buy one of those old navy fleece things...that will keep you warm
ooo and go to the disneyland website they have this thing where you can buy a hopper ticket...so you can go to disneyland and then california adventure for like three or five days its a hopper pass...and then it gives you tickets for universal studios....and some other stuff for like $200 bucks a person...cuz three days at disneyland is already $180

spatula_warrior
wear whatever is comfortable for 60s or 70s. make sure to be prepared for rain though cuase umbrellas are like $50 @ disneyland. other sugestions...GO SNOWBOARDING!!!!!!

I have to agree with TWEAK on this! Her answers are awesome, they save me the trouble of going into detail. LOL

Disneyland during the holidays is SPECTACULAR! You will never forget the experience of the lights and decorations throughout the park. It's also not that cold, but a light jacket is a good idea. The weather during this time of year is quite comfortable. My husband and I play hookey for a day in December and go to Dineyland...it's not even that crowded if you get there early enough!

Have fun and say hello to the Seven Dwarfs for me!

sorry this doesnt really go with your question but from experience i sugguest that you postpone your trip for disneyland. because in december thigns are CRAZY in disneyland. i almost got kidnapped it was so hard to walk (you dont really have more than like 6 inches of personal space). we talked to the manager and thankfully got a refund to come again another time.

In December, the weather is unpredictable. It could be in the 80s or it could be raining. I would pack a couple of options or wear something like jeans a short sleeved shirt and bring a jacket. It rarely gets colder than 60, so you don't have to worry about it getting too cold. Winter in LA often feels more like summer. If you want to see snow, you might want to go up to Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead.

Weather will be mild, but could rain. You will need a sweater or jacket. If you like horses check out Medieval Times in Buena Park near Knott's Berry Farm. I have taken out of town guests there many times and they all enjoyed it.
