Disneyland or Las Vegas? |
Disneyland sounds very fun!! Vegas sounds cool. My family want to go to Disneyland because of my little nieces and nephew, but my bro and his wife is going to Vegas after Disneyland. I can only go to 1 trip. I'm down to go to D & V but which 1 should I go? |

If any of your family members are under 21. I highly recommend Disneyland. Sadly Vegas is just not that fun for people under 21...because other than the amusement park at Circus Circus, Rides at Stratosphere, the Grand Canyon Tour, Restaurants, and a few Cirque shows...(still limited to people over 16 sometimes 18)...they'll be bored and stuck in their room at night..and you end up feeling guilty leaving them behind.
Disneyland is fun for ALL ages. So in my opinion it sounds like you have some people under 21 in your group....hit up Disneyland..I love Disneyland AND Vegas equally.

If you are with children under 18 go to Disney.
Las Vegas is trying to get away from the family image. |

No Casinos in Disneyland: I rest my case. |

It sounds like you are second guessing yourself. You know deep down inside you want to go to Vegas or you wouldn't be asking this question here. |

I agree with your family, Vegas does not appeal to me. i would worry I would get out of control...lol..
Used to enjoy the casinos and worry i would enjoy it to much. Disney is from 0 to 100 and older...
enjoy what ever you do. |

I prefer Las Vegas. Disneyland..there really wasn't much to do there for me + it was small, so you could like go through the whole Disneyland in just one day! |

I live in Vegas and I would say Disney, because you enjoy the fun with the family, there are lots of adult rides, etc., and the cost of a day at Disney can be way less $$ That $50 will cover all the rides for the time the park opens until it closes, so you only have to deal with refreshments. Besides in the area of Disney is the ocean and other cool amusement sights.Vegas is a wonderful place and very cool with lots of things to do besides gambling. And going with your brother wife would be nice so you are not alone, but would you need another hotel room.  Go to www.lasvegasnow.com and see what Vegas has to offer besides gambling. |

I think disneyland will be okay for you. |

Either one is great if you're an adult with some money! Of course, as you probably guessed, Disneyland is geared more toward families and kids, and Las Vegas is geared toward adults. Either place is somewhat expensive. Las Vegas would definitely have more options than Disneyland, and you wouldn't have Mickey and Minnie stalking you everywhere you go. But at the same time, it would be much simpler and easier to limit your spending if you went to Disneyland.
I'm torn between the two, you're going to have to decide! |

las vegas. it has many waterparks and shopping malls. also i think it worth your money out of hotels and food then disney land which is overpriced |

assuming you're old enough to gamble and enjoy doing so, vegas baby! you'll most likely have more fun there, because all of the entertainment is directed towards your age group and not a 6 year old who wants to be a princess. Besides, you're confined to Disney and everything and anything Disney at once you're there. In Vegas, you can go where ever you want. If you feel like trying your luck, hit up a casino. Or, if you just want to relax and enjoy some entertainment, go see a show. Not to mention, you have pleanty of great restraunts to chose from in Vegas as apposed to theme park food... |

if you have children go to Disneyland if not the las Vegas, which is a great place to visit, i had a great time when i went for 2 weeks and i cant wait to go back. i thought it would be crappy and cheesy but it was wonderful and amazing, cant wait to get back too las Vegas.
if you have not got children you could always do las Vegas now and Disneyland when/if you have children! hope that helps |

Under 21: Disney
21+: Vegas
Vegas is more fun when you can actually get into places. |

If you are over 21, definitely choose the Vegas trip. It's an experience you'll never forget. If you are under 21, go to Disneyland. There are things for people to do in Vegas under 21, but you don't want to hinder your bro and his wife from doing the activities they want to do. You won't be able to hang out in the casino's, go to the clubs, or drink alcohol. |

Your timing is perfect because last August I went to Las Vegas for four days then Disneyland for five days.
1. Both are very camera friendly. If you like to take pictures, just pick one. The only exception is that the live shows in Las Vegas like Cirque Du Soleil don't allow photography. Boo!
2. Both are expensive, but Las Vegas is worse. With Disneyland you can get a nearby cheap hotel and pay admission. For my trip it came out to less than $200 a day. For Las Vegas, you need the hotel, plus you'll need to pay separately for any shows, rides, and other entertainment. I spent over $300 a day.
3. Both have good weather.
4. Both are reasonably safe. Most of the time you won't have to worry about cars (as a pedestrian) or crime.
5. Disneyland is very clean. The casinos in Las Vegas all allow smoking and they stink. Even if you don't gamble, you'll be walking through the casinos to get to get around.
6. If you want rides, Disneyland is very fun. They have a few good wild rides now, but still aren't as wild as a Six Flags or a Universal Studios. The rides at the Las Vegas strip are so expensive (except the pathetic ones at Circus Circus) it's not really worth the money. |

i don't like gambeling. The only way to have fun is wasting a lot of money. It's not fun unless your putting down a lot of money trust me. You'll win just enough to make you put more money in and then walk away dead broke and with nothing... |
