Having been to both several times park versus park Disneyland is better..also much cooler temperatures than the heat and humidity of central Florida..
Disneyland's fantasy land has Mr. Toad and the other drak rides are better (Peter Pan,Snow White, Pinnochio)
Pirates is better
Splash is about the same
Indiana Jones no such ride at MK
Small World is much better with the outside que
Haunted Mansion is better at MK since the rehab
Space Mountain is better at Disneyland
Nemo Subs..no subs at MK

Magic Kingdom has everything disneyland has, plus more. It's bigger, better, and the weather is nicer. Also, there's a bunch of other disney parks to go to (animal kingdom, hollywood studios, etc...) as well as various water parks. |

it's parking lot is the size of disney land.

Magic kingdom in Orlando is the best prartially since I think you can go to other parks on a monorail form it. |

Comparing Disneyland-the theme park to Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World is tough. They are both great and very similar. Some argue DL Park is better 'cause it's the original, others note that Walt planned Disney World because so much was wrong at DL and he wanted to correct those mistakes. I like MK a bit better, mostly because of the far nicer castle and the fact that 'maintaince activity' is hidden better at MK (we could see the garbage dumpsters and LOTS of weeds while riding the train at DL Park for example-that stuff is completely out-of-sight at MK). A small thing, but affects the "magic" I think.
Next, comparing Disneyland RESORT as a whole to Walt Disney World Resort is another story. WDW wins hands down-LOTS more to do! 4 or 5 days is more than plenty to see and do it all at DLR (2 theme parks, some shopping, OK dining). You could spend a month at WDW and never do the same thing twice (4 theme parks, 2 water parks, sport center, fabulous shopping, fantastic dining, golf (even mini), water sports, horseback riding, behind the scenes tours, even resort touring is fun. |

i enjoy magic kingdom over disneyland any day...even tho i havent been to disneyland, i have been to magic kingdom enough times to say that it is way better.....genreally what i have heard is that disneyland has remakes of all the rides in magic kingdom...but magic kingdoms are more safer and are a lot more enjoyable!!!!magic kingdom is where it all started and disneyland is like a cheap remake of it,just in california!!lol hope i helped alot!! |
