No. But it wouldn't hurt. What if you end up leaving Hawaii or having an emergency where you ended up somewhere else? Be safe and get one.

Ok BEFORE you ask this stupid question AGAIN, do a search in Yahoo! Answers with your question. Seriously thanks for the 2 points but come on, what backwoods state are you from that you do not know that Hawaii is a STATE!!!

No, you do not need a passport if you are an American Citizen to fly to Hawaii (yet). It is still in the good old USA.

No. You don't need a passport to travel w/in the United States or a US territory.

But if you go to Mexico, Canada, Caribeean, ect you need one. Though right now if you drive to Mexico or Canada, you don't need one.

No. If you don't have a driver's license for ID, then you will need your passport. You need your driver's license if you will be driving in HI.

Not if you are an American citizen, but if you are an alien, you might need one. Normally, you can fly anywhere in the U.S. without a passport. Hawaii is our 50th state, so you are still in the U.S.
