Not if you are visiting from another US state. If you are going to be an Englishman in New York then yes I think you do, but check with embassy. |

Depends on where you are from. You need a passport that is electronically readable to stay up to 3 months. If your passport doesn't have the electronic strip, you need a visa to enter for any amount of time. |

It really depends on where you are from.
Best to check on the USA Embassy website.
UK passport holders don't need one.
Australia and NZ don't either.
Not too sure about other countries but i know that Slovakia, Czech Republic and South Africa definitely need one |

Depends what Country your from. Some countries recieve a 90 day visa automatically on arrival, where as other countries need a visa to visit. I didnt need one when i went. Look on your Country, or the U.S.A Government wesite, that should tell you. |

If you're a British citizen or from anywhere in the EU, you wont need a visa as you benefit from the Visa Waiver program. Having said that, it is good to check with the US embassy as to what kind of passport you need.
If your passport is rather old, then yes you will need to apply for a Visa or get your passport renewed as to fit the latest requirements. If I am not mistaken, they are now asking for a biometric passport to enter the US, or at least an electronic one (and it need to have been delivered before October 2005 I think). |

If your british and your passport is machine readable then no you don't, as you qualify under the visa waiver programme. On the fight on the way to the states the air hostesses will hand out visa waiver forms which you have to fill out for immigration.
If you have a criminal record or have overstayed your visa in any other country then you should check with the U.S embassy. |
