LMFAO
wow i didn't know they had a food called that. maybe you should bring that picture wherever you go to try and buy them because you might get thrown out of the store. just say "do you have these for sale *hand them the picture*"
just to protect yourself. |
|

:D
|
perhaps try to explain that you don't mean it as a derogatory term, that you actually mean it as a food. when i first saw your quesiton, i was sure it was going to be some stupid one, so be prepared for people to be taken aback (but don't worry no one will shoot you). |

Thank you for the attachment otherwise I would of thought of something else.
To answer your question we don't call them ******* here in USA. They are called Meatballs, you can get them in pork, beef, or mixture of each, they also come in turkey. |

Okay, mate... in the USA, the word "******" or "fag" is used as a derogatory slur against a gay person. What you call "*******" would be called "meatballs" here and are mostly made from ground beef, not pork. Also, never ask anyone for a "fag"... just ask for a "cigarette" or a "smoke," instead. Avoid those two "f-words" or you could wind up in a mess of trouble here in the States. (Check it out... Yahoo automatically edits out the word!) |

Hi Liam,
Your right about saying faggotts. It's derogatory slang for gay men. What is the food made of? I thought faggotts were sticks in England. Ask for it by the ingredients and people are generally nice around here. We actually have police that come and take care of things if needed here. My sister married a Brit and they are going to move here. It's cheaper and safer. Plan on shopping. Every thing is really cheap. Take care,

Most definitely, i think better to keep your mouth firmly closed, besides which do the Americans know what ******* are, the food variety?
you should tell people what goes into them, that will make them queasy>>>
A is a kind of meatball, a traditional dish in the UK, especially the southwest of England, Wales, and the Black Country. It is made from meat off-cuts and offal, especially pork. And is traditionally made from pig heart, liver and fatty belly meat or bacon minced together, with herbs added for flavouring and sometimes breadcrumbs. The mixture is shaped in the hand into balls, wrapped round with caul (a membrane from the pig's abdomen), and baked. A similar dish, almôndega, is traditional in Portugal.. |

No, unfortunately the for ******* in the US means a negative gay slur (Unless used by a gay person, then it can be used as a term of enderment) a bundle of twigs for kindoling (But this meaning hasn;t been used in 100 years)
Yeah... You will get into deep Kimchi if you go anywhere in the states and ask to buy some of those...
LOVE the name though... I would like to have a t-shirt with their add on it! LOL! |

if you ask for ******* in the deep south you will not only end up getting shot like you fear but it would be by both homophobic rednecks AND gay/lesbian rights activists upset over the use of that word. Best bet is just use the American version of the word and ask for "A heaping helping of homos" just kidding those are some kind of funky pork meatball you got going on. |

I live in the deep south, and I don't have any idea what you are talking about. Please don't ask for them. People will take it as an insult. In the picture, they look like meatballs lol. |

I live in Texas and I have never heard of them. I don't think that is the best thing to ask for, unless you quickly explain what they are when you order them. |
