It is certainly safe to drink but tasting good is another story. The tap filters or the pitcher type make water taste far better and actually remove many of the heavy metal found in tap water. But drink plenty everyday.

I filter my own tap water---chlorine and other things are not really healthy for your system...despite being used to clean our waters.

I don't drink tap water because I find the taste weird. I heard that filtered tap water is healthier than bottled though.

tap water that has been filtered, yes. straight tap water...no.

i drink the water out of my fridge kindl ike tap but more filtered and cold :) if its not safe u would know people would talk about it

I live in Baltimore Maryland and can say we have absolutely fabulous water. I love it and it has flouride too which helps keep my teeth healthy.

NO i don't drink tap water OK! Tap water is highly contaminated with bacteria in case u didn't know my dear. It is not filtered at all. Please don't try to drink it.
