From my own perspective I believe that most people in the USA that pay any attention to things other than sports and television will have heard of Cincinnati, know approximately where it is located, and have an idea that it is a fairly large city.

I don't remember anyone ever telling me that they were puzzled when I talked about Cincinnati, and many times other people that I met spoke highly of the town.

I myself always enjoyed Cincinnati when working there MANY MANY times over the years.

On the banks of the Ohio River, across from Covington, Ky, straight up I-71 from Louisville, KY? Home to the Reds, Bengels, and some of the best chilli anywhere? I think I may have heard of it. (lol)
Big City? When compared to London, Eng (not London, KY), NYC, Chicago, Miami...no. However, it is a small city with a big heart and that matters more.

Yes, I know it's in Ohio.

I really don't know that much about the actual city or what there is to do there. I actually saw a show last night about a couple buying a new home in Cincinnati. It looked like a nice city!

I have met people in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, England, France, Canada, and Switzerland who knew where Cincinnati was. Not all people did, but some did. They all thought it was a small city, and many knew whom the Bengals and Reds were. Outside of sports teams and WKRP, that was generally about the extent of their knowledge.

Yes, I know where it is - Southwest Ohio, very near the KY border. I don't think it's a huge city, but I think it's a decent-sized one.

It's where WKRP broadcasts from.
