Do you miss the 90's?

If you do, what do you miss about it?

Heisenberg
yes. without a doubt.

what's not to miss? the Spice Girls dominated the airwaves and people felt overwhelming confusion when considering which Spice Girl they wanted to impregnate most.

We had someone with balls in the White House who actually worked to shut the Federal Government down for 4 days and succeeded. After that, he had oral sex in the oval office while on the phone with the Senate Majority Leader.

There were three different Star Trek programs on TV - TNG, Voyager and Deep Space Nine. Futurama was new and fresh and later in the decade, the Sci-Fi channel introduced Farscape.

The 1990's introduced the laptop computer and video on demand. Cellphones were far less rampant and giving one to a teenager was still considered stupid.

Airfare was cheaper, I flew round trip to England for under $500.

Everyone wasnt fat in the 90's either. The nation had not yet developed its obesity epidemic and the nation had not yet developed it's 25 million person strong hunger epidemic.

Nirvana ruled the early 90's. Frontman Kurt Cobain was everyone's lord and master, we did what he told us to do and we were better people for doing so. When he died in '94, the hundreds of millions of fans he left behind turned to Starbucks and Starbucks grew to the corporate giant it is today.

although we didnt have facebook and myspace and yahoo answers, and even though AOL was the leading internet provider and they charged by the minute for at least the first half of the decade, we still managed to meet people and learn about things.

Instead of MMORPG's, we played super nintendo and instead of SpongeBob, we watched Invader Zim.

Yes, I was in High School and those days were great! I miss sleeping in late on the weekends, going to tennis practice, going to bball games and just hanging with friends without a care in the world.

Doc Holiday
Sometimes, I had some really happy times in the 90's. Now my life just sucks!

I miss the 70's more. Elvis was still alive and so was Lennon. It was nearing the end of the vietnam war, hippies were pretty much changing into polyester disco freaks, and Punk was coming into its own.. The 90's I was married and out on my own.. Not too much fun when you have to start paying bills..
Although, I do miss Kurt Cobain and "grunge".. (sniffle)

gabi08016
