I was thinking the same thing to myself this morning

giggle_queen2005
nope..it looks and seems like it though. but cali is just so in need of rain!

Gramy

No, it has happened before, and there were other signs the world was coming to an end that weren't true.

No just a bunch of arsonists who like to sit back and watch what they have done....very sad...and so disappointing to firemen and women out there...I just pray these families are safe and we will not see to many more lives harmed...and homes lost...

No, but it is a terrible thing....very scary,

Ah, you must be new to this planet. Cali has fires every year.
it has been this way as long as i can remember.

The Planet is not coming to an end because of this. How is this related to the planet coming to an end?

I was eating life cereal this morning and dropped one on the floor. Do you think this is a sign that Life cereal is going out of business?

Oh and global warming is about 3 degrees people. If just a big fire. scary but no other significance.

No, I think it means that California needs some rain to keep things from being so dry.

Enigma

No. California has always suffered from fires because of the temperature there. It can spark in the roots which are dry and the fire begins. It is a natural event.

NO there are many other signs!!!!

Smile the world will be around for another couple of billion years or so... but humanity, well that is another question....

Im more nervous about these super bugs and crazy viruses. Forest fires are a naturaul occurence and beleive it or not they are actually good for the enviorment, they make room for new growth, they clean up the underbrush, they help keep the soil fertile. Its just a big deal now because these fires are engulfing multi million dollar houses.

No it's not..

Poverty, Wars, and famine are signs that the world is coming to an end.

Ryan C
No, high winds, arsonists, and laws preventing controlled burns and removal of dead brush are causing the fires to be as disasterous as they are. Not to mention over building in wooded areas.

Lissa

Nope. hee hee
It's actual normal out here to have wildfires. Many people don't know this but fire is nature's way to spread seeds or wake a dormant plant. Some of our native plants have oil in them to produce fire when the sun hits it. So, it's very natural. It's just a downfall for living in CA. Only the arson fires are caused by idiots.

Lori W
Probably not, but wouldn't it be nice if it would be the end of Hollywood B.S. like Britney Spears, Lilo, Paris, etc???????

it really shows people that suffer in life and people that has never been trough any bad situation those that have been trough something know its ok and that we will recover and those who have never been trough anything think that the world is coming to an end with anything that happends when the news shows braking news instead of panicking and thinking this lets try to help out those in need in situations like this

No. If you believe in God,read the bible, it says, "no one knows the hour or the day" Only God knows when the end of the world is coming. Not even Jesus or the saints know when the end is coming.

Global warming is causing the lack of rain in some areas, and too much rain in others etc.

Um I don't think so because fires happen all the time the end of the world is not until Ice Land melts compleately

bubbles
No, but this question is a sign that you've lost touch with reality!!!

Keckise
happens every other year, so highly unlikely.

and pretty unspectacular for the end of the world, i'd expect something with a bit more spunk

G'day, this might sound crazy, but, it's not so much wondering if the California fires are a sign of the end, but i have stumbled across some info on a planet called Nibiru (Planet X) which coincides with the Mayans belief that the end of the world will be in December 2012 when the Mayan calendar expires.
The Mayans invented the most true and most accurate calendar so much so that even with all our technology we have to amend our present day calendars annually and we are 33 seconds out of sync to the Mayan calendar.
Just google 2012 or Nibiru, you can also search the same keywords at youtube.
I don't mean to put fear into peoples minds, but we need to know if it's true or not.

Fires every year. So... it's been coming for a while, I guess. Besides, those fires are hundreds of miles away from San Francisco, so I don't see why it's in this section.

I don't know... are tornadoes in the midwest a sign of the end of the world? Or howabout hurricanes on the Gulf coast? Blizzards in the North East?

Natural disasters happen. Idiots building homes in areas already prone to fires aren't helping anything.

Theresa

No...just a sign that they need rain.

niki
NO, I believe its because of lack of rain and down power lines.

DeathStalker
nope..they think it was one person who started up fires in different locations

Jen H
Not at all but it is a definite tragedy.

Robert B
the reason the fires are so large is, they were started by arsenists in many locations on a windy day. What would that have to do with the end of the world?

L. A. F
no i think the world is just telling us something

Bunny
I don't believe in god. I think it's a sign of man's over confidence in himself, and nature's way of saying, "I'll always be better!"

ackyback123
no this happens evvery year and many times per year at that. did u ever go there. it is hot and that is what caused it

I think they are a sign that when people build in the woods, there is a dry period, and the winds are gusting to 70 MPH, that fires are going to present a serious problem.

While God might enjoy roasting a few Hollywood celebrities as a first step in wiping out the USA, it is more likely that he would just drop a hot comet on them instead of burning all those nice trees.
