Las Vegas Casinos wouldn't close down during a nuclear attack. During the Christmas Season they just put some sequins on Santa Claus and keep the gaming tables open. Though some of the shows may be dark that day.

sleep_all_day27
Vegas closes for nothing.

Te3-Herst3ller
no...never...it's open 24/7....;-)

No. Christmas is actually a pretty big holiday at the casinos. I have been to Vegas for Christmas before and I liked it

Vegas is the city that never sleeps. In some subarbs of Vegas the stores and shops shut down but lots of people vacation in Vegas for christmas so why shut down on one of the biggest holidays in the year.

slickRick S
yeah right..what are you smoking?

the real Kevin B
they are open all the time

Nandatem
I thought it was a joke....
anyway... not everybody in the world believe in Jesus, so I guess it's ok to stay open this night as well - there's no reason for closing down.
For me christmas is the worst day of the year. It's such a lonely night for the ones away from their family (like me) or that don't have one....
I would love to be in Vegas this christmas!

Why would they do that? Christmas is just a religious holiday.

Nope... open all day on holidays too.

The Cali Kid
Las Vegas never closes...however, I have been there in the week before Christmas and that is it's slowest week and they'll tell you that. Good thing is there are a lot of discounted rooms during that time. It picks back up a couple days before New Years and then it's back to wild and crazy.

Sweet Merry Mayhem
Nope! Vegas is awesome on Christmas day. The casinos are always packed. It beats my dysfunctional family holidays any day of the week. :)

Dave
Nope neither do the shops and restaurants on the strip. Even the malls in each casino stay open.

It would close down if it could make more money that way.
