It depends when you go. We had one trip in June and there were storms almost everyday during the 2 weeks we were there, but the storms don't last very long, often we wouldn't even see the storm. We would be at Disney, go into an attraction and everything was dry outside and the sun shining, then come back out, the sun still shining but everything wet.

We also went in November and December, November was wetter and December cooler.

Hope this helps.

In the Summer, YES.

Depends when you go-during the Summer I believe they have rain most days, like sudden flash downpours, but when I go in November and April it's been totally dry and not had any rain.

No not every afternoon but it is more likely in the hot summer weather. This upcoming weekend there is only a 20 % chance of rain in the forecast but it's going to be hot!!!

I have gone several times in Jan, May, Sept. and Dec. It has NEVER stormed one time!! We had to break out the ponchos for 5 mins one time for a quick shower! Maybe we have just been extremely lucky!

close to it in the summer and they last anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour on average. Also, we have ALOT of lightning strikes. Thousands. We have had rain for at least the last two weeks straight and it is supposed to rain every day for the next two weeks. Oh, and sometimes it just rains but the sun stays out, and it is sunny while raining.

yes the 11 days we went this past month i think it didn't rain maybe 2 of the days. but it always started after 2 to 3 pm some times lasted a few hours and a few time maybe like 4 hours, the nights are pretty nice, not too hot!

beachbby
I was just there and it did evryday!!!!!

Not EVERY afternoon but it sure seems like it sometimes (especially this week)!

20 minute down pours are the norm this time of year but that's usually all it last for.

It seems like it ....lol
I live in Gainesville, Fl. and went to Orlando this past weekend to go to Universal. and it rained while we were there. about 11 in the morning it started and it didnt end till like 1in the afternoon. thank god it wasnt lighting..otherwise all the rides would have been shut down (which they dont usually shut down the rides.. unless it lighting.) so me and my family just went on all the water rides at that time :]

kinda funny you asked.....every summer when we go to Disney its rained like clock work. When 4:30pm rolled around we knew we were in for a quick shower. It was crazy, the ran came as fast as it left. Never ruined out vacations. We just knew at 4:30 it was time to go inside and eat.

in june it would rain thunder and lightning for about an hour in the afternoon then brighten up...we went to wet and wild one afternoon for an hour and by that time they closed the rides...it was like a monsoon and lasted til 6 or 7pm! its fun to watch from your hotel room though..i stayed in the ramada which is opposite sand lake and got amazing views

Well not every afternoon. Only those in the summer. They're very short. The clouds will quickly roll in. The storm will usually last 15-30 minutes and then the sun is back out a few minutes later.

Manda
usually in the mid-late summer it does rain at least once a day, but it's minuscule. its actually kind of nice because it cools things off a little bit. from my experience it rains a tiny bit then it goes away and the sun comes back out like nothing ever happened.

queen
every time i visit Orlando, it rains... sometimes every day or every other day... i wouldn't say a storm but it rains, it also drys right up and gets sunny, like it never rained... don't let the stop you from having fun just go with the flow, oh and get yourself a hooded rain coat at Wal-mart or Walgreen's, they are cheaper then buying them in the park.. have fun!!!

cami s
haha. no.
but it sucks when your on vacation and it does.
