I'm Scottish and travel to Orlando but I know what you mean. I insist on staying in luxury hotels to avoid the huge swarms of the dreaded English 'Chav'!

I don't mind anyone visiting our beautiful state and visiting my city. Tourism is a good thing. I have noticed that all nationalities visit Orlando area at certain times of the year.

funny,
I heard the Brits think there to many jerky Americans like you swarming around

They seem very polite to me...I have struck up a conversation with many of them in and around dsiney over the years...they seem pretty cool to me...pip, pip, cheerio...lol

The reason why there are so many brits is because the US dollar has tanked so it is dirt cheap for brits, exchanging their pounds for dollars, to come to america for holidays. It will likely get worse before it gets better so you best get use to them

flautumn_redhead
I work in retail and they are spending, so I love them. They are always polite, and their children are aways on their best behavior. Bring on the British

justpeachy
The British dont bother me all to much but some of the other foreigners are really rude. They try to cut in line and are so unfriendly and dont even say hi.

gdovhull
I am a Brit and obviously like any group of people or nation there will be some annoying or not very nice people but as a brit I don't see anything you should hate about us in general. We bring alot of tourism to USA especially Orlando and we spend a fair bit of money. In our nature we arn't pushy if anything we hardly say anything to people if we think they could possibly be offended and we keep relatively quiet. This could be wrong from me or you could just have had a bad experience. Don't stereotype.

zuesefl
I think it is just you! I personally love the British people and they are more than welcome to visit Orlando!

They are always very polite and their children are always well behaved!

So I hope more come!

I am sorry you have such a problem with them, but do get over it!

We don't get a lot of British tourists here in Idaho. I could think of worse things, though.
