There is something great for kids of ALL ages at every park. My first impression of you is you like the bigger rides, so you would want to hit every park for sure if you have time. In my opinion the Aerosmith Rock 'N' Roller coaster and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in the Disney Studios are the best rides in the park, with Expedition Everest in the Animal Kingdom a close second. You also will love Test Track in Epcot and Soarin' in Epcot.

There is no such thing as a speedpass at Disney. You can't pay more to get to the front of the line. What they do have is called a fastpass. Fastpasses are free, but they go quickly. You have to get a fastpass using your park ticket, you will get a time to return to ride the ride from a much shorter line. Most of the more popular rides have a fastpass station. Once you get a fastpass you can't get another one for two hours.

I would highly recommend checking out the disboards. The disboards is a message board type website that is all about going to Disney. You can get resort reviews, restaurant reviews, advice on rides and attractions, trip reports and much more!! I go to Disney all the time and I learn something new every time I visit the disboards.

I would recommend getting the park hopper pass, if you have not purchased your park passes yet. The park hopper does cost a bit more, but it is worth it. The base tickets let you go into one park per day, the park hopper lets you come and go as you please to which ever park you want. If you go to the Magic Kingdom and discover that it is too crowded, you can shift gears and hit a different park without a problem. If you are like me you may want to go to one park in the morning and a different one in the evening, especially if you are planning on seeing any of the night time parades and fieworks. It just makes things much easier and more convienient.

I love going to Disney. I have been there a ton, and love it so much my wife and I joined the vacation club so we can go with our family more often. This past March we went with the whole extended family, 10 of us in all and had a BLAST! I am already planning our next visit. I am so jealous, I hope you have a great time!

There are NO speed passes for Disney.

There are FAST PASS for some rides. They do NOT cost any money. FP does not get you to the front of the line-it gets you into the FP line.
Please note for FP. A sign will tell you when the fast pass is being handing out for. It may be 9am and the FP could be for 4pm. Check before you get it. Once you have one FP for a ride you can not get another till 1) you ride the ride OR 2) two hours have past-pls check with Disney cast member as this time limit can change. So you can not stock pile FP.

You are not search at the gate. Your bags are. Every compartment is look at.

Cast members do not try to sell children stuff , they do not hawk merchandise. There are things to buy everywhere.

Parking is $11 IF you and NOT staying at a Disney resort.

The only "stars" that will be at WDW will be there for the Star Wars weekend. Go to www.disney.com to find out who will be there.
We are going the same time!
Star Wars is on the weekend at Hollywood Studio. IF you are not a SW fan stay away from HS on Sat/Sun.

Bring EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Prices are very high at Disney and it is hard to find stuff like tums, band-aids etc. My niece bought two AA batteries for $10.00! I packed small washcolths in zip lock snack bags. It was great at the parks to be able to wash off a bit. It will be HOT, HOT, HOT.

All four parks are popular and will be crowded. You have time to visit each one.

Book any sit down meals ASAP. You will find it hard to get in to any while there. Go to www.allears.net for all Disney menus and prices.

How old are you, where are you staying??

I have gone to WDW 5 times. 3 the last 3 years.

During the summer my advice is to get out into the parks early. As said before, head to the most popular rides first. Once the day starts heating up, go back to your resort and enjoy the pools. It being June, you might even think about a day at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon.
Bring water bottles and keep refilling. You need to drink a lot of water during the day. Bring your sunscreen and wear very comfortable shoes.
Have a great vacation.

Bring money with you, you'll have to pay for things like food water and gifts.
get a fast pass because the lines are ridiculously long
go on rides at lunch time because while most people break for lunch you can go on the rides and not have to wait
bring a camera
stay at a hotel in disney that way you can travel to the parks on either a shuttle bus or monorail

The most popular parks are probably Magic Kingdom
Disney's hollywood studios and animal kingdom.

As for stars I'm not sure

I have gone to disney too many times to count (for 14 years) but I do have an experience from last summer that was enjoyable. I went to animal kingdom and rode the rides (including Mount everest rollercoaster which is new) and saw nemo the musical(which was very funny! if you go to that be sure to get there 30 minutes before the show because it's so popular!) than after that I went to Disney's hollywood studios(which in my opinion I had the most fun at) So my mom and i were walking around and people came up to us and gave us their fast passes for Rock n' roller coaster and tower of terror(who knows you can get lucky!) then as we were walking around the park we saw something with chronicles of narnia: the lion the witch and the wardrobe, which was awesome, you went into this room and stood around the wardrobe like in the movie, then the doors of the wardrobe openeed and they had made an exacty replica of narnia, complete with a screen showing mountainssnow, they had a white carpet that looked like snow, the lamppost from the movie the white witch and Mr.tumnus's house, it was unbelievable and awesome. Now they have turned it into Chronicles of narnia prince caspian and are making sets of that so that should be fun. After I went to magic kingdom and went on the newly modified pirates of the carribean ride(which now includes jack sparrow!)

Mouth of the south
I think the most popular would be MGM, but all the parks are popular, it depends what time of the day you go to. Like we did, the early birds, we got up early ( 7:00) eat breakfast and head to the parks, that early there is nobody at the parks, so you have the parks to your self until the the rest of the people who slept in come in.My fav ride there was Everest, if your not a big fan of roller coasters I would try something less thrilling, like space mountain, or the animal safari or some of the shows that they do.When It rains ( lets hope it doesn't) always take like a little backpack and pack ponchos or umbrellas, just in case. I highly recommend the "fast pass". This lets you get ahead of the line privilege, while the other people waite in line. It dont cost anything, but do it. its. worth it.. But please note that FP will not work for ALL of the rides in the park. . Would you rather  waite in line or skip ahead to the front? The other ride that was cool was sorin'. It was pretty amazing, not going to spoil anything else!! The Pirates of the Caribbean ride was cool, but there is no fastpass for it, Its well worth the waite. There are many good places to eat, so take some extra cash for it, or credit.  Its hotter than hell, so drink lots of water and stay cool. Hope this helps!

Okay, this is going to be long...

First of all, Disney World is the best place ever and you will love it. The first decision is where to stay. There are over thirty resorts on the Dinsey Property and you definitly should stay in one of them. That way, you don't have to rent a car nd get through the HORRIBLE traffic and waste time while spending a lot on gas. Each Disney hotel has transportation by bus to all of the parks. And when you get there, you don't have to walk the MILES to get from the parking lot to the park. The bus dropps you off at the front gate. There are three classifications of Disney hotels. Value resorts are the cheepest, moderate are in-between, and deluxe are expensive. For value resorts, there are ONLY two choices (big surprise) Disney's All-Star Resorts or Disney's Pop Century Resort. Stay at Pop Century. It is newer, closer to the action, and has more busses. If you want a moderate resort, go for Port Orleans. It has two sections, Riverside and French Quarter. Riverside has a bigger shop, a restaurant, a bigger food court and more space. French Quarter has smaller everything and no restaurant. If you're gonna go deluxe, stay at the Polynesian. It has acess to the Magic Kingdom by boat and monorail and has great themeing.
The busiest park is the Magic Kingdom, with the other three in a tie for second. BUT, Epcot is designed in a way that you don't notice the crowds. Animal Kingdom as well. The Hollywood Studios is different, it is very tight and narrow, so looks and feels very crowded.
Make sure you get FASTPASS for every ride that offers it. You can do this by putting in your enterence ticket into a machine outside the ride. The machine will produce a small ticket with a "ride time". EXAMPLE: you put it in the machine at 9:00, it will say: ride between 10:15 and 11:15. Then, any time between 10:15 and 11:15, you can ride it with little to no waiting! It's awsoume!
There are also two water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. If you like thrills, Blizzard Beach. If you like wave pools, food, and atmosphere, go to Typhoon Lagoon.
Character meals are a must, the best of which is at the Contemporary Resort, and is called Chef Mickey's.
Downtown Disney is the night club, restaurant, shopping, and all-around entertainment complex. It is a must-see and has a lot to offer.
There will be no stars that week, but one may show up. Probably at Magic Kingdom or Hollwood Studios.

I hope you have fun, Disney World is something you just have to do once in your life!

Get park hopper passes, go to every park and every ride, take breaks during the day and plan how much money you want to spend each day

Get there early and go to all the major rides first because those will be the busiest. We got there around 12 and it was packed so we didnt get to ride all the rides like we wanted to.There will not always be stars there but if you mean like Disney Charecters then they have the same ones all year round. The most popular park is Magic Kingdom so get there Really early. My experience was phenomenal. You will never forget your experience. You will want to go every year for the rest of your life.HAVE FUN!

OK... you first need to spend the extra money on the SpeedPass, or this is what it used to be called; for an additional $25 per ticket, you are allowed to go to the front of every line. It will make people mad, and they will even say things as you go by, but my husband lived there the first 20 years of his life and went on a weekly basis; and in one day without the pass, you will ride 4, maybe 5 if you can overcome the sunburn, thirst, and really rude people. Other than that it IS a beautiful place, it DOES have the whole Disney Magic thing if you can ignore the rest.
Travel from the parking lot is terrible, at least 25 minutes; its a walk, then a tram, then another really long walk. Food is abundant and moderate-high priced. There are characters and people everywhere trying to sell your children everything!!
It is beyond HOT, it is so humid, lived there 3 years with my husband and its like a steam room, soaked int the first 5 minutes :(
Take at least $250 with you, just to eat, drink and buy something really small.

Oh and be prepared to be searched, thoroughly before entering the gates.

If possible bring alot of money for fun stuff and souvenirs. Its fun to spoil yourself while you are there. Get things like big hats and glowing spin toys. Magic Kindom is the most popular park. It's good to go for 5+ days so you have time to experience everything and relax. Minature golf (Fantasia themed) is really fun too.

If you've never been to Disney then I would strongly suggest you get a guide book and read through it before you get there. It will be time well spent. If you are going with kids I would suggest Fodor's Disney with Kids by Kim Wiley (even if you aren't it's a good guide). Otherwise, The Unofficial Guide is another very good book. I would go get them today and start reading now! There's a lot of advice that you won't be able to take advantage of because it's way too late, but you should be able to get a lot of information to help you from feeling too lost.

It can feel overwhelming to figure out all that the world has to offer, but no matter what you do...have fun! The cast members (Disney employees) are great. If you are staying onsite, the conciege can be your best friend. If you are staying off-site, as soon as you get to the Magic Kingdom go to the Town Hall on Main Street and they will be glad to help you get oriented. They will even give you a "1st Time" button to wear!

lol they got rid of speed passes 5 years ago. now they are called fass pass and they dont cost anything. Magic Kingdom is the most popular, its the most visited theme park on earth.
