Does anyone know if there's a time difference between Florida and New York?

Actually, most of Florida is in the Eastern Time Zone with New York. If you are going est of the Apalachicola River on the Florida Panhandle, you will be entering the Central Time Zone. That's right, Florida has 2 time zones. The easy way to remember it is anything in Florida that is directly below Alabama is in the Central Time Zone. This includes Pensacola, Panama City, and Marianna.

Nope its the same unless you move to Tallahassee or westerly like into Pensacola or Destin. If you do then its a hour difference

Most of florida is the same time, however...around the Panhandle it's one hour earlier...so basically you won't be bothering anyone no matter when you call

It depends where you go in Florida. If you go to the Western part of the panhandle, there is a time difference of a hour. Otherwise, Florida is in the same time zone as NY.

depends where in Fla you move part of the pan handle is in central time zone most of the state is in eastern zone same as NY

No they are both in the Eastern time zone the only difference is that in the summer days are longer and in the Winter the nights are longer than in FL because NY is at a higher latitude

if a place is north or south of where you are..they are in the same time zone and their time is the same.
