Rarely, and it doesn't tend to stick. I've only seen it twice; once in Port Arthur (about two hours drive south of Houston) and it was just a dusting, and once in Dallas as I was taxi-ing down the runway to leave. |

in the panhandle...every winter, but i live in Dallas (and San Antonio for college) and i've only seen real snow 4 times in my life. It'll snow, but it will do one of 3 things: freeze over, turn to slosh, or melt right away! |

Yes. It is very rare close to the Gulf coast, but becomes more common as you move inland and to higher ground. |

It snows a lot in the Panhandle part of Texas. I live in the Dallas area and it snows (not alot) but sometimes enough to build a snowman. |

It does in Dallas, and has at least once each of the four years I've been here. But only a couple times has it actually stuck for more than a day.

I've seen snow in Texas. I lived in Ft. Worth, we had snow a couple of times there. |

Yes, but in Dallas, we get sleet or freezing rain more often than snow.
And once, in late spring or early summer, I saw small pieces of hail cover the ground so much, it looked like sleet. Of course, it melted quickly. |

Yes, it does. It rarely snows over a few inches (less than a foot) however, and when it does, the whole metroplex shuts down, ie schools, universities, and many businesses close down for the duration of the snowfall. Friends of mine from the Northeast think we are all a bunch of babies! :-) |

As surprising as it sounds, it does snow over here in Texas. However, it doesn't snow as much as it does like in Colorado or New York. However, its snow so we enjoy it when we can. ;) |

Yes it does but most of the time if you wait four hours you wouldn't know it. |

I have lived in Texas all of my life and yes it does snow here. But when it snows just enjoy it while u can because it doesnt last a day. I remember last year my daughter played in the snow for the first time here. The year before that it just gave us a dust on the ground. |
