Does it annoy you when people refer to Disneyworld as Disneyland?

it annoys me. if you are asking a question and want information you should at least be clear about what you want the info on. florida or california

I don't that it annoys me, but just like you, I correct people... And they are pretty different, unlike what an above answerer said... Disney land is in Paris, California, Hong Kong and Tokyo.... Disney WORLD is only in Orlando

It does annoy me to be perfectly honest. When you book reservations for both locations and the people state that they want "Disneyland in Florida" over several times during the day it does get very annoying. Or when they say they want to go to Disneyland. WHen you have to ask them California, Paris, Hong Kong etc and they then state "ORLANDO" it gets annoying.

Not really, unless I'm in a bad mood. lol But yeah I still correct them because otherwise it gets confusing.

If they are making reservations to stay at either resort, the travel planner will be sure they take the proper route to get there. Geography isn't high on the education list any more. How many can point to a map and find their home town, let alone Disney Land or World?

it does annoy me.
if they are asking a question about disney world cuz they are going there you would think they'd know which dinsey they are going to.
and if they just say disney land and not specify the location most people would think california.
so at least it doesn't confuse me when people say disney land and then continue and say in florida cuz at least then i know they mean disney world.
but yeah it sorta bugs me. and i correct them cuz disney land and disney world are not the same.
