You didn't state exactly where in the United States you will be traveling.
In order to gamble in Las Vegas, you must be 21. If you appear to be loitering in a casino (even if you are not gambling), there's a good chance you'll be approached by security.
Keep in mind that you can enter a casino, but you must walk from Point A to Point B. You are not supposed to stop or even watch someone gamble.
Clubs are a different story where the minimum age is sometimes 18. This rule can differ between clubs, however.
If you are able to enter a club where the minimum age is 18, they will not permit you to drink alcohol. One club I went to at 18 actually marked the back of my right hand with a big X to indicate that I could not drink.
For international travelers, a passport will suffice for identification. It would probably help to also have a driver's license in addition to your passport. |

Some clubs will let you in, and make 21's wear a wrist band to get drinks, but most will not let you in the door. If you are a very attractive girl, it is much easier. |

you have to be 21 to gamble too but there may bee some under 21 clubs that let you in and use a wrist band to tell if you are underage or not |

I think there are some places where the legal drinking age is 18 or 19. I know New Orleans USED to be that way. (about 20 years ago) Not sure if it's changed. |

Some states you can be 18 to gamble, in minnesota for example you can at age 18, but i think most clubs won't let you in unless you are 21, or unless they have an 18 and over night and anyone under 21 would be somehow identified as not being able to purchase. |

you can go into a casino but cannot get within 5 feet of any table or machine...might as well stay out! there are some Indian casinos that may have different age requirements - I am not familiar with them.
You need a passport all over.....cannot get back into US without one now. |

Well you can get in you just can't drink, and they will probably take your passport or drivers license or whatever id has your b-day. |

I know that anyone that is 18 or older can get into a bar not sure about casinos though and as long as the id is valid you shouldn't have a problem I am sure you will have a pas port so just carry that with you |

Yes you can but you just cant drink. If you want to get in you need to show them your passport so that they can verify your age. The age that you can get in is 18. |
