The Bellagio. We stayed in a suite with a view of the fountains all lit up at night. The room and view were breathtaking and the staff were so friendly. The buffet is gorgeous and to die for with anything you could ever want. The hotel also gave us free entry into the night club there.

MANDALAY BAY! It doesn't have all the glitz & glamour of the Bellagio or Wynn, but this hotel is very cool. And it always smells good too =)

MGM Grand, go up to the bar right by the walkway to NY NY and get a Firecracker, double 151.

Believe it or not, my husband and I prefer the old end of the strip. We have been staying at the "Lady Luck" for years. Not only does it have good quality rooms, service, food, tables, video games and entertainment. It is also very well located, being across the street from the local bus station that will take you down the strip. During the day we take the bus all the way down the strip, then start walking. When we get tired we hop the bus and head on back to our room to rest up for a fun evening of gambling and entertainment down stairs. There are also many shops to explore that is walking distance from the hotel. And, the post office is right across the street. And... well.... I could go on and on. If you are going to Vegas, check it out. :)

Silverton.

Off the Strip, half the price.
NEW rooms, AWESOME buffet and restaurants.
VERY loose slots.
120,000 gallon saltwater fishtank in the middle with mermaid shows.
Paula Abdul hangs there.
Hootie and the Blowfish hang there.
Shuttle to the strip.

Definately The Bellagio, and take a camera, between the the birds and gardens inside the hotel lobby and the water show outside it's breathtaking.

My husband and I go to Vegas several times a year. We stay at the Sunset Station in Henderson. We call our Casino hostess and let her know when we are arriving. She has everything ready for us. It's a bit of a drive from the strip, but that's what we like about it. We can "visit" the strip. We don't gamble in the strip casinos, because the minimums are way to high. We like to find the "local" stuff off the beaten path. When we go to the strip, it is for a Coke float at Coke World and I love to check out M&M World. The Fountains at the Bellagio are wonderful. We love walking through some of the bigger places, but stay away from the table games. We also love Old Downtown. The person who recommended the Lady Luck is right. You can find some real gems hidden in that city. It's not all about "the Strip".

I like the Hard Rock. It's noisy and always has a lot of good looking people there. I've never stayed there though. I just like the atmosphere.

I really like the Mandalay Bay and Luxor. Those are both really cool, but Circus Circus is fun if you have kids. The Wynn is pretty nice, and it's fairly new. I'm sad the Stardust is closing, though.

Circus Circus definatly! first of all, it's super fun for all ages. There are rides, and games and full out fun. Secondly, even though there is gambling, there isn't an excessive amount. Also less gambling = less smoking, so the environment is friendly.
