For my 18th birthday i plan on going to vegas. the thing is i've never been before. What should I do?

wait until your 21 then that way you can do anything you want
you must be 21 to gamble in Vegas and go to clubs and many motels you must be 21 to check in

I live in vegas and you wont be doing a whole lot at 18. Vegas is all about gambling and partying which you have to be 21 to do. go to mexico or caribbean you only have to be 18 in some of those places

Sorry man, not a good plan. Most things you can't do till you are 21, I know when I went at 18. You can see some shows, but the only 'gambling' you can do is bingo. They won't even let you sit down anywhere there are slot machines. :(

All of the hotels have casinos on the main floor. At 18, you are not allowed to be in the casino. You should go to the beach or something and forget about vegas. I live in vegas, and at 18 you cant do anything that a 12 year old cant do.

I haven't been yet but im going this spring. I know i waited till i turned 21 cause of all the nay sayers. My buddy went though and said it was great even though he was underage but he also said he felt really left out. Check out the link for the 18-20 crowd as they put it, its not incredibly helpful but its something.

i also agree that the Caribbean / virgin islands are pretty sweet at 18, which is what i ended up doing at that age.

There are many wonderful and interesting places in Las Vegas where you can go & visit, such as, "O" or Ka shows by Cirque Du Soleil, Awesome show Le Reve at Wynn, inexpensive funny comedy Magic show by Mac King at Harrahs to many free shows like The Aquarium at the Silverton to Bellagio's Botanical Garden or you can visit the World's largest and finest classic car showroom 125,000 sq. feet The Auto Collection at Imperial Palace. There are many large shopping malls like Las Vegas Outlet Center to Galleria at Sunset. Whatever you do, DO NOT WALK DOWN THE STRIP. I've been to Vegas twice. Both times, due to different circumstances, I've ended up walking halfway down the strip. It's terrible hot wether. Make sure you find some form of transportation.
