If you are young go to Magic Kingdom.
If you are old go to Epcot.
If you are in your teens go to MGM.
MGM and Universal are about the same. MGM is a little cleaner and has nicer people working there, Universal has better rides.
My favorite is Epcot, but Epcot would suck if I were 9 years old. |

Each person is different. Some people love the park, other people hate it. Personally, it isn't my favorite, but I still go just about every time I am there. I think it is worth a visit, at least once, expecially if you have a park hopper. If you don't like the park, you can just "hop" to another park that you enjoy more.
The best thing to do is look at the rides the park has, then see if it will be of interest to you and the rest of your party. |

I love Disney/MGM. I think the Muppetvision 3D show is one of the funniest anywhere on Disney property...the pre-show is even funnier than the show itself.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is a must-do for most people, and that's at MGM.
And if you're going to be there for lunch, you should try the Sci-Fi Dine-In theatre for a unique experience I don't think you can get anywhere else.
I wouldn't skip it. You can probably do all the things really worth doing there in a few hours, but don't skip it.
Be sure you do DisneyQuest if you're going to be at Disney World. DisneyQuest will be permamently closing in January of 2008. |

Do you like movies? Do you like thrill rides? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you'll probably enjoy MGM. As others have said, Tower of Terror is a great ride if you can handle all the drops. I haven't been on the Aerosmith Roller Coaster but I've heard it's amazing. My favorite non-thrill ride at MGM is The Great Movie Ride, which takes you on a tour of classic films. There are some great shows at MGM as well, such as the new stunt show, which features car chases at high speeds with all kinds of amazing stunts, and the Indiana Jones show. There's the Star Wars ride, Star Tours, which is a bit rough but a lot of fun. The restaurants are also something to see. Sci-Fi Dine In is cool because you sit in "cars" at a drive-in and watch clips from really cheesy scifi movies. The 50s PrimeTime Cafe is fun if you're into role playing; the servers are really in character---they'll even put you in the corner for not eating your vegetables, so go there only if you have a good sense of humor! |

Tower of Terror is great and I think the Aerosmith Rocking ROller Coaster (name?) is there. Can easily be done in a few hours then go to another park. If you happen to LOVE PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SANDWICHES they have the most outstanding ones at MGM. (street vendor cart center of park)(maybe not so great if you are actually from Philly.....) |

If you like thrill rides then go and do the rides at least Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster they are right next to each other which makes it convenient. MGM is the smallest park on property so it won't take much time to explore. I would suggest walking around for at least half a day, you never know you might see something of interest.
If you enjoy watching all the night shows then I would definitely suggest seeing MGM's night show FANTASMIC, it's not just fireworks but also water effects, stunt show, laser effects... I worked at the show for two years and it is still my favorite on property, saw it just about everyday know it by heart but can never get sick of it. If you are a huge fan of the villains then you'll love the show that much more.
Enjoy your vacation! |
