I suggest researching locally.
Start first at http://newcityvegas.com
You'll find tons of info and links and you can get answers to your questions on 10 different local message boards with different perspectives, experiences, and local / tourist mixes.
You can also check the local Meetup.com groups

Watching the Fountains of Bellagio is my favorite, but basically every hotel has something to offer. At the Venician, you can take a boat ride like in Venice. At the MGM Grand, you can take pictures with baby lions. Treasure Island has a ship wreck show. The Monte Carlo is closed now, so you can't visit that. I also just like to walk down the whole strip and watch the lights and people having fun. There's sooo much to do... I can't fit it all here. Have fun and remember... What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas! |

Is this your first time? I think you'll find plenty to do. It is quite the experience, especially the first time. Definitely take a walk down the strip ( I like night time ) and see all the sights, Bellagio's Lake with the fountains is a must see.
A trip downtown for an evening would not disappoint.
There are many world class golf courses.
Top quality shows of any variety.
And , oh yes there is gambling.
As for food, take your pick. There's steak house's ( Smith & Wollenski's or The Stripjoint at Planet Hollywood ), not to mention all the celeberty chefs that have restaurants. "Mon Ami Gabi" at Paris is one of my favorites.
Here's a web site that can help you get an idea of hotels, retaurants, shows etc.

Darlin',
Just go! Such a good time. A better question is what is there not to do. I would'nt make a concrete itinerary, Just go with intentions to gamble or see shows, and wing it from there. All kinds of world class performers and cover acts year round. The architecture is like none you have ever seen. Be sure to take at least one or two friends with you. Good Times! |

well to see the full strip you can do it n 1 or 2 days just by walking. There is also freemont st expierence.
if you have a rental you can venture out and have tons of fun.
You can drive to death valley, they have tons of places to stop and look around, also scotty's castle
Pahrump NV has a legal brothel *(prositutes are legal only in Nye County NV), they have free tours and pretty good food. they also have a day spa and hotel.
other wise in vegas the only things to really do is blow tons of money in slots. have a wonderful trip |

There's no shortage of great places to eat in Las Vegas. Margarittaville and Bahama Breezes are two of my favorites though. For entertainment, check out the Comedy Stop at the Tropicana...the comedians and staff are hilarious, it's hands down the best entertainment in Las Vegas and at $20 a person, it beats the hell out of spending $100 to see Barry, Wayne or one of those Cirque shows. |

Tao is an amazing restaurant. Also, try the sunset champagne helicopter ride over the strip. |
