Warm clothes. Depending on where you're from, you might not find the actual temp too cold (not too bad for me coming from Chicago) but it's the blast of wind squeezed between all those buildings that gets ya! |

Hi, I went in November a couple of years ago and there was not a cloud in the sky for 3 days but it was freezing, gloves and scarves weather. Take a very warm coat, but be warned..the shops have their heating set high! |

Long sleeved shirts, light sweaters, pants, long skirts, a jacket...something that'll cover you up and keep you warm, but not like a wool coat or anything lol... i don't live in NYC, but I live in NY State...hope this helps a little bit? |

What part of NY?
The filthy city or the clean air of the Adirondacks? |

Bloody freezing!! Great opportunity to go skating in Central Park though.
Layer up - as soon as you get inside everything is centrally heated, but gloves, hat, scarves and coat a must. |

It'll be cold and likely snowy. Pack sweaters and long pants and a warm coat. |

I lived in Connecticut for a year, it used to be -6 c in the winter mornings, take an umbrella, layers and jeans and have a great time! |

Definitely bring a coat. It can snow in November. Sweaters, pants, no sandals. Anything that will be comfortable to walk in, but also keep you fairly warm... but that you can take off when you go inside without being uncomfortable or it being too bulky. |
