East Tennessee/ Western North Carolina is where the ski slopes are... check out link below less than an hour drive to 5 different slopes but I'd recommend Sugar Mountain.

I get so much snow in my area that I would love to hire you to shovel it all. When you get my age snow becomes a burden.

Nice to see not so nice to live in. You can drive North or North West, they are getting lot of snow right now. It is a day drive to some states North of you that have snow like Va, TN, KY.
Tennessee is good in the Mountains but many of the areas that are touristy close this time of the year.
Do a little research on your computer. Enter the state, then enter snow sports and see what you get. Vacation spots, snow may work too.

i know for a fact it is snowing in utah because my aunt just went down there to visit some friends and she said the snow was up to her legs. so ya i would definatly go there of course you would have to buy a plane ticket and then a motel room. but anyways good luck finding a place to go.

Try checking out the biltmore estate in Asheville, NC. check out their website at www.biltmore.com. I've been there with my brother and girlfriend and we all had a great time checking out the mansion and local area. Along with the estate, there are a lot of other area attractions that can add to an interesting holiday getaway. Chimney Rock National Park offers great oportunities to escape any city and enjoy what the outdoors has to offer. Check it out at http://www.chimneyrockpark.com. Check with your parents to find out if you have any relatives or friends where it snows. You may just receive an invitation to stay at their place. That's if you want good and cheap.

We go my parents' cottage, only 1 1/2 hours drive, tons of snow & cross country skiing as well as ski lifts. We live in Ontario, Canada. We see the first snowfall with mixed emotions; 1. All of the winter activities. 2. 4 months of defrosting, de icing, shovelling, wet heavy clothing., power failures, colds, flue etc.

YOU WOULD LOVE GATLINBURG TENNESSEE! THEY HAVE SNOW SKIING, ICE SKATING, ALL KINDS OF LITTLE SHOPS AND GOOD PLACES TO EAT, LOTS OF SHOPPING AND ENTERTAINMENT. PLUS THEY WHOLE TOWN IS DECORATED UNTIL AFTER JANUARY. AND IT ALWAYS SNOWS UP THERE THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. PERFECT PLACE FOR YOUR AGE.

Try upstate New York, Connecticut. You can probably find inexpensive flights from Miami.
