Go to Lake Tahoe!!...Its areal paradise!
You can enjoy:casinos, restaurants, pine trees, blue waters and bike trails.
You must visit mountains. No wonder Mark Twain called it a place where the air is so pure the angels breathe it.....;-)nice
I am sure you would enjoy sailing. There is lots of sailing excursions.
One of my friends has been there.I have seen many pictures of that place. But it depends on what you actually like.If you like to be active-you can hike, swim, walk.If you want to spend a lazy day on yacht-you can enjoy a Champagne Excursions...hahahh..i mean sailing and drinking champagne all day;-)
sounds interesting?;-) |

I think every state has something unique to offer, so it will depend on what you want to do on holiday. Some states have beaches you can lay on, some have great night life, some offer gambling, some offer great hiking, river rafting, canyons, mountains, houseboats, shows, meditation and spiritual journeys ... there is something for everyone, but narrowing it down can get tricky. :)
LOL fair-and-squire - 'satanic dollers'. Thanks for the laugh. |

Why don't you go to California (in particularly Los Angeles). It's a state narrate in a lot of songs, like "Under the bridge" (red hot chilli peppers", "Dreamin California" (Beach Boys) and many others... |

You really should visit California. I live in San Diego, which is a great city on the Pacific Ocean about 2 hours south of Los Angeles. San Diego is worth a visit as is Carmel/Monetery along the Central Coast of California, Yosemite National Park about 3 hours east of San Francisco, and San Francisco itself is great. |

Hi Nomad...it really depends on what you like to do. If you are looking for a trip full of partying I would suggest Las Vegas or Miami. If you are looking for a nature oriented vacation, I would suggest Utah (lots of beautiful National Parks) but depending when you are coming it may be too snowy to go to the parks. Skiing is great in Vermont and Colorado. There are so many options...give us some of your likes and dislikes and we can probably help more. |

There's about a thousand answers to this question, depending on the time of year of the visit and what your interests are (among other factors as well). I suggest Boston, Massachusetts ; Atlanta, Georgia ; Omaha, NE ; Denver, CO ; San Fransico, CA ; San Diego, CA. Not only does that somewhat cover the area geographically, but would offer regional perspectives on our culture (not that you'd visit every location). I've lived in Omaha and Boston and have visited (more than once) San Fran and Denver... all nice cities. |

There are many beautiful and diverse areas of the US. Each area has something special and unique to offer. Depending on the season that you are going to travel...I would suggest New England in the autumn and the summer is amazing, yet, I wouldn't go in the winter, its downright miserable. Florida is terrific, but summers there are oppressive. The Pacific Northwest has marvelous vistas, but is treacherous during the winter months.
So, in short (ha too late) it will depend on what interests you, when you are visiting, and what you want to do while here. The USA is a wonderful place, I am sure you will love anywhere you go! |
