Yes, I have been to both Kauai and Oahu. Kauai is truly beautiful. They say it is the most romantic of all the islands. It is a very idyllic place and one that I hope to return to someday. I should also mention that the natives are very friendly. |

I was born and raised there. What part are you talking about or what island. Oahu is the most populated, if your looking for night life and having a whole lot of fun Oahu is the island all the action takes place in Waikiki on Oahu. If it's more relaxing mode you're looking for try the other islands. Many people seem to love Maui, no huge cities and very Hawaii country, not the same as mainland us country. Big Island is were you go to see where all the volcanic Action take place. Anywhere you go you'll have a blast. |

Yep, nice place to visit, good seafood. Go inside Diamond Head and climb the stairs to the top of the crater. It's a beautiful view well worth the climb, and not too many people do it. |

Yes in the 70's we went on a family vacation there for a month. I went to the big island of Hawaii, Oahu, Kona, Kauia and Maui. It was absolutely beautiful with Maui being my favorite. It was more rugged with big mountains, miles of beautiful sand beaches, pineapple and macadamia nut orchards, hiking trails, and the most spectacular sunset I've ever seen with the sun setting into the ocean.
