I used to live there for many years and I also went to school there. It's a pretty nice and safe place...The bad thing about it is that it's just an island and so not much spread-out lands and the housing is very expensive and limited there. Also, there are hardly any big companies there and so not that many jobs.. |

I spent 2 months in Oahu in 2003, and a week in Oahu last January. I've also went to Maui in November and December.
I would have gone to Lihu'e, Kaua'i this weekend and Kona on the Big Island tomorrow if I wasn't sick.
It's great having a friend who's a flight attendant. |
