was born and raised in tinley park. i traveled to the main city quite a few times. lake shore drive is fantastic; the fountain and lake is gorgeous and the museums are a definite plus to visit while you are there. it's a great place to visit, but i don't want to live there. |

Chicago is a nice place to visit, I don't think I could live there. I choose to live in Indianapolis due to less crime, traffic, and it's much cheaper. I do have to say that Chicago is a beautiful place, nice lakefront, Chinatown, etc. Also the food in Chicago is the best in the Midwest. |

Chicago is my birth city and am here now. It is a very good city, depending on which area you live in and on a higher level, what race you are.
I have tired of the cold winters and heavy clothes and the youth are too unruly in Chicago now.
Am moving to West Africa by July longterm so I can say goodbye to cold winters and hello to mosquitoes year-round. Greatest benefit being, I have no wife or children in Chgo or the US but can have an endless amount in Africa! Give me a laptop, internet access and 7 wives and I can give Oprah a run for her money inside of 5 years; IF the closed mind locals do not kill me! After all, as a man I am adventurous and have been to Africa many times! Pay $80 a month now in Ghana for a new 3bdrm/2bath house with one wife in it. I like to save money monthly to buy gold & silver bullion & globally invest.
Enjoy Chicago, atleast it is not too congested like NYC. |

Yes. It was quite pleasant -- everyone was very friendly and helpful. Mostly in and around the Loop area. |

Born and raised in Chicago..but not the downtown area, in a great area on the southwest side. I love Chicago...the neighborhoods, the downtown, the people, the food. I went to Loyola Univ for 2 years, the campus is downtown right by Michigan Ave. Its a nice city to go to college in. I've been downtown many times, often went 'down there' on weekends..we liked driving on Lake Shore Dr, its beautiful at night. |

Yes, I've been to Chicago. I thought it was rather large and scary. The police were mean and gave me a parking ticket, but I opposed the charges and didn't have to pay the fine. I was in the historic downtown district. |

Chicago is a blast. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency on Wacker right in the middle of the city. It was pricey but right in the middle of EVERYTHING. Go have breakfast at "Orange" . Fascinating food. |
