Bud's Girl

Have you traveled to N.Y.C. to visit the World Trade Center?

Can you tell me what different feelings you experienced while you were there? I would love to go, even though I know I'd have a really hard time.

I went there and I started crying. Hysterically crying. I didn't even expect it. I stepped onto the side walk and I went up to the gate that they have with the peoples names. I kneeled down and started crying like a baby. There was a pool of tears from where my friends and I cried for like a half an hour.

It was really moving. You see it from your car and you don't think about it but its like a graveyard and you can feel the people there.

I remember crying and crying and crying. It felt really good. It was relieving.

Hello =)

I saw the old twin towers several times...

Actually, from the Empire state building, looking at the Twin Towers, you used to be able to tell that the earth was round.....oddly enough.....

They were not particularly impressive buildings, though....kinda ugly infact....the tragedy was in the loss of life, not in the loss of those concrete monstrosities...

Namaste,

No,but I know someone who helped to move some of the debris. He said that the very powerful feelings and emotions were overwhelming.I can imagine.

You could see the tourists just all look down at the gazing hole in the bottom even though work is happening to rebuild. You see the fences with pictures of the images of the buildings, the events that took place that day along with the names of those that lost their lives.

First time being there felt rather weird in a sad way and at the same time hopeful since even though we have lost many lives through a callous act, that we are picking up the pieces the best that we can and moving onward.

I went liek a few days before it fell. It was kinda scary because since your 110 floors off the floor it felt like you were flying. I dont know why but i looked down i liek i thought i was dropping. It was very windy ! i was in Tower 1.

I went in 2004 and what a big differents. The gate we entered was still there, but burnted, the bridge i used to cross into the WFC was there but in poor condition. When i went it was as if i saw the towers infront of me in real live but it was an anu.

When we went to battery park OMG and we saw the WTC plaza peace globe we was, that made it, it looked a little thennind but it looked fine to me !

I was there literally the day before 9/11. Pretty scary, huh? I was taking a tour with my senior class. I got a backrub from a HOT Russian foreign exchange student while I was waiting in line.

i was there at wtc at nine eleven...its downright creepy listening to all the flaming liberal arguments when you know the only thing that saved further attacks on us soil was immediate response. god help us if the pelosis of the world get their way.

Some times, when I am on the Staten Island Ferry, I look up to try to see them still, thinking they are just hiding behind the clouds like they did in the 70s when I was a kid.

I went a couple of months after the incident occurred. It was very moving. Candles and pictures of the deceased were everywhere. I highly recommend going.

It's nothing but a big hole. People work at the site daily. To me, I felt that there is something missing, being that the surroundings have alot of tall buildings. Let's see how the rebuilding process works.

The world trade center isn't there anymore.
