So let me get this straight, you want to know if people would rather live in a place that has an average temperature of 83 degrees year round, beaches, palm trees, and is pretty much paradise or:

A grimy, crime infested, steel and concrete jungle, ripe with smells of car exhaust and sewers, whose closest unpolluted, swimmable body of water is in Canada?

i live in NYC so i want to go to hawaii. it's a 12 hour flight though which sucks. But i WISH i can go to Hawaii. Instead i'm going to Aruba this summer, it's only a 4 hours flight.

yeah. i live in hawaii too and i always wonder if people want to come or not. my cousins from chicago really want to come during spring break to get away from the cold but honestly i want to go to it. i would rather go there and see snow than stay here, but thats just because ive lived here all my life.

i do! ahh, it would be soooo relaxing and it would not have that whole "rush in the big city" feeling. i would love to look outside my window and see the beach. or to even see the sunset i bet would be awe-inspiring and gorgeous!

I already live in New York, so OF COURSE i would want to go to Hawaii. I've heard it's very nice and humid there. The beaches, and oceans...

For snorkelling and surfing, I'd go to Hawaii. Work has taken me there quite a bit in the past 3 years.

For museums and plays, I'll take New York.

Both places are great.

Hawaii all the way! I'd have to say that because I love the beach and the nice weather with the lays and pineapple. But maybe I'm just saying Hawaii because my bffl moved there. Idk it's you opinion.

You might not realize what you have until see it through somebody else's eyes. Enjoy Hawaii and take advantage of it. One day you might move away and your new home will be that "other" place. There individuals that love New York and there are those that love Hawaii, both would be loved the same.

i'd visit for a week or two, but then I'd want to get back to my home, NYC, where we have amazing diversity in food, culture, arts and people.
