How's living in OHIO, US?

Life is pretty good here. I live in Ohio and some people say it is cold. I can honestly say it is not. 45-55 degrees for mid. January is not cold. Once it was even 60! That was about a week ago. Life is pretty good besides the fact that we haven't had a snow day since 2004. Maybe it was 2003. That was so long ago I can hardly remember. Ohio is no longer country. With an estamated pop. of 11 million Ohio is the 7th most populated state in the US. There are very few places with country. I sure wish it was country-like. A bunch of angry, mean people live here now. I would rather live in Montana. There are great schools there. One is number 9 in the US.

Ohio is wonderful. There are many big cities if you are the "city" type. Also there is alot of country. So either way you could be satisfied. The cost of living is actually "liveable" Not too expensive.
We have the best damn football team in the land. Move to Ohio and you too will be a Buckeye and join the biggest rivalry in college football. Ohio State vs. Michigan.
GO BUCKS!!!!! Muck Fichigan.

I have lived in Lake County, North East Ohio all of my life. I have had the pleasure of traveling around the US. and to other country's. There is NO were else I would rather live !!! What the other people have said so far is all true . Pulse here we don't have to worry about hurricanes , wild fires, mud slides , sever earthquakes, and really high temperature's in the summer .

Lived there for my first 23 years and joined the Military. It's not bad depending on were you go. I grew up in a village near Lima Ohio. Not much to do. Lots of country. Quite in most parts. Schools systems are pretty good.

The best location in the nation!!!!!

It's pretty good. Where I live it's pretty quiet though, just south of Toledo. Over here in northwest Ohio there is still lots of country and farmlands. I think that this is the most plain looking part of Ohio, Mansfield area looks amazing in the fall...yay for the Amish people :o) There are no hills were I live and it's very windy and the weather can change in an instant! But, despite all that, I really do love Ohio because it's close to some other amazing states if you wish to visit other places, and there's lots of history to see in Ohio.

it fun....plus your football team is great

GO BUCKS!!

I was there for a while and it's wonderful!

Ohio is a great place to live and raise a family. Our economy is kinda bad but with the change in Congress I'm sure it will get better. The place where I am located (Tuscarawas County) is a great wooded rural setting in a valley, we have all the seclusion and safety of country life, with Cleveland and Pittsburgh both only about 90 minutes away if we decide we want to go to the city. We have clean air/water, and Amish food is great! Just forget about the Cleveland Browns....

It's pretty great. I love the winter, except this year, we didn't get a heck of a lot snow, but the summer, fall, and spring are all great. Lake Erie's ok, but in my opinion not the best to swim in, but it's still good if you want to. When you get to the country part of it, it's really beautiful. Lived here in Ohio and I love it.

Ohio isn't all that bad. Avoid the eastern lakefront unless you love to shovel (feet of) snow. I left 20 some years ago, but I'm still a die-hard Browns and Indians fan. Finding a good job might be your biggest obstacle, unless you're a 20-game winner or all-pro QB willing to work for sub-standard wages. Ohio has both great city and country life to offer. If you have kids, the schools are better than most states.

In the winter it can be pretty cold. So if you don't like cold winters, don't move there.

I've lived in Lake county for 20 years (almost my whole life). Sorry Brittany, I moved here from Michigan and am still an avid Michigan fan. Anyway...I think the weather is bearable. I don't really like snow but it's not the frozen tundra all the time. We've been having some pretty mild winters actually. Probably if I lived away from the lake, it would be even nicer. Cleveland is a nice medium sized city. Lots to do. Plus only a few hours away from me is Cedar Point. What could be better? We just got an H&M store a little bit away. I'm close to Legacy Village and Crocker Park shopping center (obviously I love to shop but these places are nice just to walk around in). Cute upscale towns just outside of Cleveland are nearby (Chagrin Falls has nice outdoor places that are fun to just walk around in plus garage sales put on by rich people are awesome). Columbus is another really cool city to go to. I think Ohio is great. I'd like to live a little more south than I do, but I'm proud to say I come from Cleveland.

economy and jobs are terrible...ohio is loosing all it's young people...the job market for college graduates is terrible. i grew up in cleveland...high crime rate. i now live out in "the country"..beautiful. i guess it's all a matter or personal opinion.

well it is wayyy too cold and when you think about our football team ya i mean they cant win one freaking game!!!!!!
