Like everyone else said, it's very humid around DC/MD/VA in the summer. Temp's are usually in the mid to upper 80's. You'll get pretty sticky, so bring tanks and shorts. If you're going to be using the metro or visiting the museums, bring a light sweater because they blast the AC! |

DC gets pretty hot in the summertime. Even in the air conditioned buildings I don't need a sweater. It's SUMMER. We're at a temperate latitude. It gets pretty hot and sticky, with temps in the 80s and 90s. |

You usually don't have to worry about rain, but the temp can be in the 90's, the sun is hot and the humidity will drain you. Remember to drink water and lots of it. |

It's pretty hot out.
Just like the rest of the Temperate climate.
Usually highs are in the 80s but they creep into the 90s and a few times around 100. There's also a lot of thunderstorms in the summer.
Humidity can be a problem at times but it's not as humid as Atlanta or Raleigh. |
