How do I get from JFK to West New York 60th Street at around 11pm?

Would anyone be able to advise:
1) How much a tax would cost?
2) What other means of trasnport would get me there, and how much it may cost?

Thanks!

ShiogO is right. Taxi JFK to Manhattan is $45 flat fee plus tip and tolls. However, it's the best bet at that time of night.

If you insist, you can take the AirTrain to the Subway, then find your stop. Not recommended.

the easiest and safest way if you do not know your way around New York is to take a cab from they airport, they are on a fixed fee, think about $45 plus tolls the guy in charge will give the cab driver you address and make sure he knows where it is he is taking you. there are other methods, bus and train but if you are arriving with luggage and have never been before would suggest you tak the taxi

A Sincere Hard-of-Hearing Man
for your own safety, get a taxi - also, for your own whereabouts too. Expect to pay around $40 plus tips (10%)

At this late hour, a taxi will be the safest and best mode of transportation. The fare might range between $40-45.

there are ground transportation real easy these buses cost about 12$ if that and they will take you almost exactly where you need to be dropped off. forget about a cab. you can even take a car service at the airport. if you're brave enough you can travel the subway into the city but you really need to know where youre going

Take a taxi - you'll be safe and you'll have the thrill of seeing the NY skyline lit up in front of you as you approach the Mid-Town Tunnel. When it's your first time, it'll blow you away.

Better still, ask the driver to take the 59th Street bridge instead - even better!

Taxi for $45 would be your best bet

Airtrain to the subway would be cheaper ($7/person) but if you're not from the area, it may be a little complicated, and could also be dangerous because the subway goes through some spotty areas.

Obviously these guys have no idea where West NY is. they saw you say 60 st and figure you mean manhattan.
WEST NY is on the left bank of the hudson

taxi will cost $45 - flat fee from JFK or you can take the J train (I don't recall where it stops around 60th - plus you need to know the cross street)

If you have the cash, take the taxi, much more fun coming into Manhattan.
